ELECTROCONDUCTIVE FILM, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, TEMPERATURE SENSOR FILM, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
An electroconductive film (101) comprises a metal thin-film (10) on a first main surface of a flexible substrate (40) that includes a resin film (5). The thickness of the flexible substrate is 1 mm or less. The absolute value [H.sub.2−H.sub.1] of the difference between the heating dimensional change rate H.sub.1 of the electroconductive film and the heating dimensional change rate H.sub.2 of a film obtained by removing the metal thin-film from the electroconductive film is preferably 0.10% or less. There is a tendency that undulation of a temperature sensor film after patterning of the metal thin-film is further suppressed as the value of [H.sub.2−H.sub.1] decreases.
Accurate battery temperature measurement by compensating self heating
A method for accurately measuring a battery temperature using a temperature sensor embodied in a battery monitoring integrated circuit is disclosed. The method includes performing calibration to estimate a thermal resistance between the battery monitoring integrated circuit and a terminal of a battery, measuring a temperature using the temperature sensor, measuring a voltage at the terminal or at a supply pin of the battery monitoring integrated circuit while a current is being used to charge or discharge the battery, calculating a power by multiplying the voltage and the current, and calculating a self-heating temperature adjustment to the temperature by multiplying the power and the thermal resistance.
Device and method for determining a model related to a temperature shift
A device may comprise: a storage for storing a reference output representing an output of an electrical circuit at a reference temperature; one or more processors, configured to: determine a temperature shift based on a comparison of an output of the electrical circuit sensed at a sensing temperature and the reference output; determine a plurality of coefficients of a model of the temperature shift, wherein the model implements one or more functions that associate the plurality of coefficients and a temperature with the temperature shift at the temperature.
Bandgap-less reference generator
The bandgap-less apparatus is a fast settling circuit (e.g., with settling time of less than 40 ns) that can leverage proportional-to-absolute-temperature only (PTAT-only) currents to generate a zero or substantially zero temperature coefficient, or even complementary-to-absolute-temperature (CTAT), reference current or voltage, without the need of a native CTAT component or bandgap diodes. The apparatus subtracts two different PTAT currents so that the resulting current is zero-TC. The resulting current is a reference current. The resulting current can be converted to a reference voltage.
Systems and methods for measuring internal transformer temperatures
A system may include a transformer that may convert a first voltage to a second voltage, such that the second voltage is output via a conductor. The system may also include a wireless current sensor that may detect current data associated with current conducting via the conductor and a processor. The processor may receive the current data, determine one or more temperature measurements associated with the transformer based on the current data, and send a signal to a component in response to the one or more temperature measurements exceeding one or more respective threshold values.
DETERMINATION OF A SOLENOID INJECTOR COIL TEMPERATURE
Disclosed is a method for determining a temperature of a solenoid injector including a coil and a needle when the solenoid injector is in a non-injection phase, the method being characterized in that it includes the following steps: powering the solenoid injector coil using an electric generator for a period of time tvoltage strictly shorter than a period of time tlim corresponding to a time for which the coil is under power causing the needle to open; measuring at least one value icoil of the current of the solenoid injector coil using a current measurement sensor when the coil is powered; and determining a temperature of the solenoid injector from the at least one value icoil of the current of the solenoid injector coil.
TEMPERATURE EXPOSURE DETECTION BASED ON MEMORY CELL RETENTION ERROR RATE
A temperature exposure detection system includes a plurality of nonvolatile memory cells. The memory includes memory read circuitry for reading the plurality of memory cells to determine a data retention error rate of the plurality of memory cells. The temperature exposure detection system determines a temperature exposure of the system based on the determined data retention error rate.
ELECTROCONDUCTIVE FILM AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR FILM
Provided is an electroconductive film having a metal thin-film on a resin film base; and a temperature sensor film which is obtained by patterning the metal thin-film on the resin film base. An electroconductive film (101) which is used for the production of a temperature sensor film comprises a metal thin-film (10) on one principal surface of a resin film base (50), with a chromium oxide thin-film (21) serving as an underlying layer interposed therebetween. A temperature sensor film is obtained by patterning the metal thin-film so as to form a thermometric resistor part and a lead part that is connected to the thermometric resistor part.
Medical ultrasound device with temperature detection at distal end
A medical ultrasound device is disclosed. The device comprises an elongated body having a proximal end, a distal end (10) and a distal end region (1). One or more ultrasound transducers (4) for generating acoustic radiation are positioned in the distal end region, inside the elongated body. A transmission element (5) which is substantially transparent to acoustic radiation is positioned in the radiation path of the acoustic radiation, and a controller unit is operatively connected to the ultrasound transducer. The controller unit detects the acoustic path length through the transmission element and determines the temperature at the distal end from the detected acoustic path length. In an embodiment, the medical device is an ultrasound RF ablation catheter.
