A highway grade crossing gate mechanism having a smart cam system capable of measuring a parameter of the gate mechanism in real time is provided. The gate mechanism includes a DC motor, a cam system, and a controller. The DC motor is coupled to a main shaft for driving a gate arm between a vertical position and a vertical position. The cam system includes manually adjustable cams coupled to the main shaft that move contacts to open or close at some preset angular rotation in order to set operational features of a crossing gate. An internal sensing device is disposed internal to the cam system measuring a parameter of the gate mechanism in real time. A controller controls the motor and receives and stores the parameter. The parameter may be transmitted to an external network giving accurate feedback of the state of the gate mechanism in real time.

Device and method for torque measurement

A concept for torque measurement on a shaft is described. To that end, millimeter waves are transmitted in the direction of a first encoder structure, which is coupled to a first shaft section of the shaft for conjoint rotation and is arranged around the shaft, and in the direction of a second encoder structure, which is coupled to a second shaft section of the shaft for conjoint rotation and is arranged around the shaft. The first encoder structure and the second encoder structure are rotatable relative to one another in the case of a torque to be transmitted via the shaft. At least one reception signal is generated on the basis of millimeter waves reflected or transmitted by the first and second encoder structures. A torque transmitted using the shaft is determined on the basis of the at least one reception signal.

Device and method for torque measurement

A concept for torque measurement on a shaft is described. To that end, millimeter waves are transmitted in the direction of a first encoder structure, which is coupled to a first shaft section of the shaft for conjoint rotation and is arranged around the shaft, and in the direction of a second encoder structure, which is coupled to a second shaft section of the shaft for conjoint rotation and is arranged around the shaft. The first encoder structure and the second encoder structure are rotatable relative to one another in the case of a torque to be transmitted via the shaft. At least one reception signal is generated on the basis of millimeter waves reflected or transmitted by the first and second encoder structures. A torque transmitted using the shaft is determined on the basis of the at least one reception signal.

Provided is a brake inspection device including: load torque measurement units configured to respectively measure: load torques as a motor is normally rotated and reversely rotated in a released state where an operation of a brake for holding a rotor with respect to a stator of the motor is released; and a load torque as the motor is rotationally driven in either one of a normal direction or a reverse direction in a locked state where the brake is operated; and a determination unit configured to determine a state of the brake based on the load torques measured by the load torque measurement units.

The present invention provides a sensor device comprising a rotor, a stator disposed outside the rotor and a sensor module disposed outside the stator, wherein the rotor includes a sleeve and a magnet coupled to the sleeve, the magnet is disposed inside the sleeve, and the sleeve includes a fixing part which protrudes from an end of the sleeve and is in contact with the magnet, wherein the sleeve includes a second body, and a third body, wherein the second body is disposed to cover an upper surface of the magnet, the third body is disposed to cover an outer circumferential surface of the magnet, wherein the magnet is disposed between the shaft and the third body, thereby providing an advantageous effect of increasing a coupling force between the magnet of the rotor and a yoke.

Dynamometer device

A heat insulation plate (25) is interposed between a coupling (21) and an adapter flange (22) in a main shaft (6) of a dynamometer (3). A torque meter (24) is disposed between a coupling flange (23) that serves as a test-piece connection surface (56) and the adapter flange (22). To surround a periphery of these, a cover (7) is provided. An air conditioner utilizing a refrigeration cycle supplies a cold wind to an inside space of the cover (7). The heat insulation plate (25) suppresses heat transmission from an electric motor of the dynamometer (3) to the torque meter (24). Therefore, the torque meter (24) is effectively cooled by the cold wind.
