Method for checking plug connections

A method checks a plug connection, in which a first plug part is connected to a second plug part. The method determines a force-time curve of a force applied by an assembler during an assembly process of a plug connection. In addition, the method determines characteristic values of a plurality of characteristics of the force-time curve. The method also classifies the plug connection by use of a machine-learned classifier on the basis of the characteristic values of the plurality of characteristics.

Injection device

Injection monitoring circuitry is provided for coupling to part of an injection device having a syringe and a plunger rod. The injection monitoring circuitry has an input to receive force measurement data from a force sensor, the force measurement data includes a plurality of timestamped force measurements of force applied by a user to the injection device when an injection is administered to an injection site. Processing circuitry is provided to determine from the force measurement data when an end of injection has been reached, the end of injection corresponding to the plunger rod having reached an end position in a distal portion of the barrel of the syringe during administration of the injection by the user. Machine readable instructions and an injection monitoring method are also provided.

Vehicle sensor assembly and a sensor-mount assembly

A vehicle sensor assembly includes a panel having a first side and a second side. The vehicle sensor assembly also includes a beam spaced from the panel relative to the second side. The vehicle sensor assembly further includes a mount including a first portion fixed to the beam. In addition, the vehicle sensor assembly includes a sensor coupled to the mount. The mount includes a second portion coupled to the first portion and the sensor is fixed to the second portion to define a subassembly unit. The subassembly unit is movable relative to the first portion in response to a force applied to the first side of the panel which causes the second side of the panel to engage part of the mount to move the subassembly unit. A sensor-mount assembly includes the beam, the mount, and the sensor coupled to the mount.

A system may include a hose assembly and a controller. The hose assembly may comprise a plurality of sensor devices configured to generate sensor data regarding the hose assembly. The sensor data may include at least one of first sensor data regarding a bend radius of a first portion of the hose assembly, or second sensor data regarding an amount of torque at a second portion of the hose assembly. The controller may be configured to receive the sensor data from the plurality of sensor devices; determine a remaining life of the hose assembly based on the sensor data; and perform an action based on the remaining life of the hose assembly.

PRESSURE VESSEL STRAIN ANALYSIS DEVICE AND PRESSURE VESSEL MANUFACTURING METHOD

Provided is a pressure vessel strain analysis device capable of grasping a correlation between manufacturing conditions and strains. The pressure vessel strain analysis device includes an analysis unit. Based on a plurality of manufacturing conditions of a plurality of pressure vessels and a plurality of strains acquired by an image correlation method in a state where a predetermined internal pressure is applied to the plurality of pressure vessels manufactured under the plurality of manufacturing conditions, the analysis unit calculates a correlation between the plurality of manufacturing conditions and the plurality of strains.

ACTIVE STYLUS

An active stylus including a pen housing, a pen core module disposed in the pen housing, a control module disposed in the pen housing, and an elastic member assembled to the control module and the pen core module is provided. The pen core module has a first end and a second end opposite to each other. The first end is protruded out of the pen housing. The control module has a force sensing element, and an elastic force of the elastic member drives the second end of the pen core module to be abutted to the force sensing element seamlessly.

VALVE TESTING FOR ENGINES

An apparatus is provided to test valves. The apparatus includes a sensor and a driving mechanism. The driving mechanism is configured to control an external camshaft that is coupled to a valve train of an engine head. The apparatus controls the driving mechanism to control a rotation of the external camshaft that further controls an activation of each valve of the valve train associated with the engine head. The apparatus further controls the sensor to acquire information associated with the activation of each valve of the valve train based on the rotation of the external camshaft. The apparatus further compares the acquired information with pre-stored information, to determine an abnormality in each valve of the valve train, and generates a notification based on the comparison.

Controller for an agricultural machine

A controller for detecting an unwanted object in an agricultural machine. The agricultural machine includes a pair of rollers for receiving crop material therebetween. The pair of rollers define a variable roller opening therebetween. The controller is configured to: receive a roller-opening-value that is representative of the size of the roller opening; determine a strength-value based on the roller-opening-value and a roller-speed-value, wherein the roller-speed-value is representative of the rate of change of the roller-opening-value, with respect to time; compare the strength-value with a threshold-value; and if the strength-value exceeds the threshold-value, then provide an output signal that is indicative of an unwanted object being detected.
