Display adjustments

Example implementations relate to display adjustments. For example, a non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions executable by a processing resource to sense a contour of an object using a sensor of a display. The instructions can cause the processing resource to determine a contour of a perimeter of the display that fits a portion of the shape of the object. The instructions can cause the processing resource to adjust the perimeter of the display to the determined contour of the perimeter via an actuator of the display.

Measurement with satisfactory sensitivity in a low-pressure range, and accurate measurement in a wider pressure range, are realized by a pressure sensor that includes a diaphragm layer and a pressure receiving region formed on the diaphragm layer. The pressure sensor includes a first piezostrictive element, a second piezostrictive element, a third piezostrictive element, and a fourth piezostrictive element. In addition, the pressure sensor includes a first magnetostrictive element, a second magnetostrictive element, a third magnetostrictive element, and a fourth magnetostrictive element. A switching function unit outputs a pressure value calculated by a second calculation function unit until a pressure value calculated by a first calculation function unit exceeds a set threshold value, and outputs the pressure value calculated by the first calculation function unit when the pressure value calculated by the first calculation function unit exceeds the threshold value.

DUAL ACOUSTIC PRESSURE AND HYDROPHONE SENSOR ARRAY SYSTEM

An aspect of the invention is directed to a system of both atmospheric and underwater sensors for measuring pressure waves from a noise source. A system of pressure sensors can be formed to determine the location of an external noise source, whether in air or underwater. The system includes at least two arrays consisting of pressure sensors, including at least one atmospheric pressure sensor and at least one underwater pressure sensor, such as a hydrophone. Each sensor may be a seven-fiber intensity modulated fiber optic pressure sensor. The system includes an analog to digital converter for digitizing the pressure data received from each sensor and a processor which processes the received signals to calculate an approximate location of the noise source based upon the pressure signals received by the sensors at different times of arrival. The system can provide this capability in remote applications due to its low power requirements.

Method for correcting a dual capacitance pressure sensor
11467051 · 2022-10-11 ·

A method for correcting a dual-capacitance pressure sensor for measuring fluid pressure, comprising: at a first time, taking measurements of fluid pressure based on movements of a first membrane and a second membrane of the pressure sensor; at a second time, taking measurements of fluid pressure based on movements of the first membrane and the second membrane; determining a change in the measurement results based on movements of the first membrane between the first point in time and the second point in time; determining a change in the measurement results based on movements of the second membrane between the first point in time and the second point in time; Checking whether the changes in the measurements determined are based solely on a change in fluid pressure or whether the changes in the measurements determined are due to changes in the pressure sensor, and if the latter is the case, determining a correction for the measurements determined at the second point in time.
