A vehicle cabin simulator module provides flexible reconfiguration of transducer locations for evaluating acoustic performance in a vehicle design at a prototyping stage. A frame lattice defines a plurality of cavities around an interior space. A plurality of transducer assemblies are mounted in selected ones of the cavities, each assembly having a faceplate mounting a transducer for acoustic coupling with the interior space. Blank panels are mounted in other selected cavities to shutter the respective cavities. A covering liner is applied to an inner side of the frame lattice. Wiring is provided to interconnect the transducers with a signal processor. The frame lattice further defines a door section radially movable for enclosing the interior space at a closed position and for providing ingress and egress to the interior space at an open position.

A system includes a sound demonstration apparatus having a sound insulating member defining an acoustic chamber, wherein the sound demonstration apparatus includes at least one open face. The system also includes a sound emitter operable to be positioned in the acoustic chamber of the sound demonstration apparatus, wherein the sound demonstration apparatus is operable to engage the fenestration unit at the open face of the sound demonstration apparatus. The method includes positioning the sound demonstration apparatus and a fenestration unit, such that the fenestration unit and the sound demonstration apparatus are operably engaged and form an acoustic chamber. The method includes activating a sound emitter.

Using tachometer-from-vibration processing of component signals and appropriate configuration allows for the analysis of both the compressor turbine and the power turbine of a turboshaft, turboprop, or twin spindle turbofan engine. One smart vibration sensor is positioned on or near the turbo engine and detects vibration data for components of both the gas compressor turbine and power turbine without the need for direct measurements of tachometer data from both the compressor and power turbine. From this, condition indicators are determined for monitored components on the sensor and returned to an onboard control unit.

An image evaluation apparatus comprises an image capturing device configured to include a blur correction function, a vibration control unit configured to vibrate the image capturing device based on an input waveform, a vibration detection unit that detects the vibration of the image capturing unit, a memory storing instructions, and a processor executing the instructions causing the image evaluation apparatus to compare the input waveform with the waveform of the vibration detection result that was detected by the vibration detection unit, and perform a captured image evaluation that is an evaluation of the blur correction function based on a captured image result of a subject by the image capturing device, wherein the processor performs captured image evaluation in a case in which it has been determined that the difference of the waveform of the vibration detection result with respect to the input waveform is within a predetermined range.

Disclosed are approaches for analyzing vibration data to determine and mitigate an occurrence of an anomaly with respect to an industrial machine. In one embodiment, time-series vibration data is received from a sensor measuring vibration of a machine. First outliers are detected in a short-term window of the time-series vibration data. Second outliers are detected in a long-term window of the time-series vibration data. The sensor is determined to be associated with an anomaly based at least in part on a quantity of the first outliers and a quantity of the second outliers.

Disclosed herein is a vibration monitoring and diagnosing system for monitoring conditions of a wind power generator and diagnosing a defective portion thereof using vibration characteristics obtained from acceleration sensors mounted to the wind power generator. A vibration-based defect detecting method may include: collecting vibration data of the wind power generator using the plurality of sensors; extracting a first characteristic value of a time domain based on the vibration data; extracting characteristic values in one or more frequency bands for a location of each sensor in a frequency domain or an envelope frequency domain if the first characteristic value is greater than a preset alarm setting value; and determining that a defect is present when at least one characteristic value of the characteristic values is greater than a preset normal value.
