Method and apparatus for vehicle inspection and safety system calibration using projected images

A vehicle service system and method to determine spatial parameters of a vehicle, employing a display system under processor control, to display or project visible indicia onto surfaces in proximity to a vehicle undergoing a safety system service or inspection identifying one or more locations, relative to the determined vehicle centerline or thrust line, at which a calibration fixture, optical target, or simulated test drive imagery is visible for observation by a sensor onboard the vehicle.

The present subject matter provides various technical solutions to technical problems facing sensor-based vehicle safety technology. To address problems facing identification of safety features (e.g., safety sensors) for a particular vehicle, a vehicle safety feature identification system may be used to identify a vehicle and the safety features that are installed on that vehicle. To address problems facing identification of which safety sensors require maintenance, a vehicle safety feature maintenance system may be used to identify vehicle safety sensors based on information received about one or more vehicle repairs, such as structural repairs following a vehicle collision. The vehicle safety feature maintenance system may use image data or other inputs to identify a vehicle repair area, identify other vehicle components that must be removed or adjusted to complete the vehicle repair, and identify all vehicle safety sensors and other safety features that will need to be repaired, replaced, or recalibrated.

A system for electric aircraft fleet management for at least an electric aircraft is provided. the system includes a computing device communicatively connected to at least an electric aircraft, wherein the computing device is configured to receive a plurality of measured aircraft operation datum from a sensor disposed on the at least an electric aircraft, select a training set as a function of each measured aircraft operation datum of the plurality of measured aircraft operation datum and the at least an electric aircraft, wherein each measured aircraft operation datum of the plurality of measured aircraft operation datum is correlated to an element of modeled aircraft data, and generate, using a machine-learning algorithm, an aircraft performance model output based on the plurality of measured aircraft operation datum and the selected training set, wherein generating an aircraft performance model includes generating a performance alert.

TEST MANAGEMENT MODULE AND VEHICLE TEST SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME

A test management module includes a test manager writing a test list, a first emulator controlling an operation of the vehicle according to instruction of the test manager, and a controller controlling an operation of a test station according to instruction of the test manager. The test list includes an event condition to be generated in a vehicle and operation information of the operation of the vehicle, which is performed when the event condition is satisfied, and the operation of the test station provided to virtually test the vehicle.

SENSOR ASSEMBLY FOR DETERMINING A PHYSICAL PROPERTY OF A VEHICLE
20220107235 · 2022-04-07 ·

A sensor assembly providing a physical property of a vehicle, e.g. tire pressure of a wheel of an aircraft, comprises electronic circuitry including a locking arrangement and sensor suited to sense the physical property and an exhaustable power source, e.g. a battery. For prolonged shelf life, a first and a second switch means are functionally arranged between power source and circuitry. The second switch means is controlled by the locking arrangement, whereas the first switch means is controllable from outside the sensor assembly, e.g. by a magnetic field. The first switch means is arranged to switch the power to the electronic circuitry, whereby the locking arrangement is powered, too. In consequence, the locking arrangement is capable to close the second switch means. Thereafter, a further stimulus to the first switch will no more be capable to switch the sensor off, unless the locking arrangement enables it again by opening the second switch means.

METHOD FOR CORRECTING A LIGHT PATTERN, AUTOMOTIVE LIGHTING DEVICE AND AUTOMOTIVE LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
20220107241 · 2022-04-07 · ·

A method for correcting a first light pattern provided by a lighting device with a matrix of light sources. The method includes steps of providing some resolution data of the light sources, simulating a test map of the light pattern using the resolution data, and simulating distortion maps of the test map. Each distortion map is associated to a distortion factor. Also included is obtaining a real distorted light pattern, comparing the real distorted light pattern with the distortion maps, finding a distortion map which is the most similar to the real distorted map and applying a correction factor to correct the real distorted light pattern, thus obtaining a corrected light pattern. The correction factor is related to the distortion factor of the distortion map which is the most similar to the real distorted map.

Vehicle evaluation method, vehicle evaluation equipment and computer readable storage medium

A vehicle evaluation method and equipment, the vehicle evaluation method comprises: obtaining current vehicle data of a target vehicle, wherein the current vehicle data includes a vehicle identification; obtaining historical vehicle data of the target vehicle according to the vehicle identification; determining an authenticity of the current vehicle data according to the historical vehicle data; and evaluating the target vehicle according to a determination of the authenticity, and generating an evaluation report of the target vehicle. In the present solution, a detection and an evaluation of the vehicle can be implemented more comprehensively, and an accuracy of vehicle evaluation can be improved.

VIN scan recall notification

A system and method are disclosed for helping a user determine whether a vehicle is subject to a safety recall and assisting the user with addressing incomplete safety recalls. A vehicle identification number (VIN) may be extracted from an image of a vehicle captured by a user electronic device and used to request safety recall information from a remote information system, which may provide a list of recalls associated with the vehicle. A list of nearby service centers may be identified based on the physical location of the user electronic device, and service appointments to address any incomplete recalls may be scheduled, either automatically or in response to user input.
