Data processing device and automatic analysis device using same

An automatic analysis device includes: a factor storage unit 12b which stores each factor previously specified as a factor that could affect measurement accuracy of each of measurement items, while associating each factor with each measurement item; an abnormality judgment unit 103a which judges the presence/absence of an abnormality in a measurement value of each measurement item on the basis of an approximation formula and approximation formula parameters stored in an approximation formula storage unit 12a; and a factor judgment unit 103b which refers to the results of the judgment by the abnormality judgment unit 103a in a preset order, and would judge as an abnormality factor a factor stored in the factor storage unit 12b in association with a measurement item as an abnormality factor in a case where a plurality of measurement values regarding the measurement item have consecutively been judged to be abnormal. The operator is informed of the abnormality factor on the basis of the result of the judgment by the factor judgment unit 103b. With this configuration, deterioration in the measurement accuracy can be reduced through the detection of an abnormality in the measurement result and the determination of the causative factor.

Electric field stirring apparatus, electric field stirring method, and pathological sample manufacturing apparatus

An electric field stirring apparatus, in which a droplet as a liquid disposed between a first electrode and a second electrode disposed to face each other is vibrated and stirred by an electric field generated between the first electrode and the second electrode, the second electrode having a groove formed along a first direction on an electrode surface facing the first electrode, includes a movement mechanism that reciprocally moves the first electrode relative to the second electrode in a second direction intersecting the first direction in a state in which the first electrode and the second electrode face each other during a period in which the electric field is generated.

MAGNETIC RESONANCE PULSE SEQUENCES HAVING WAIT TIMES BASED ON CARRIER SPEED

An embodiment of a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) apparatus for estimating properties of an earth formation includes an NMR measurement device including a transmitting assembly configured to emit a pulse sequence and a receiving assembly configured to detect an echo train based on the pulse sequence, and a processor. The processor is configured to perform receiving input parameters including an axial speed of the NMR measurement device and a T.sub.1 value associated with a selected formation fluid, analyzing polarization data associated with the T.sub.1 value, the polarization data describing a dependency between polarization and axial speed, determining a wait time for the pulse sequence based on the polarization data, applying the pulse sequence with the determined wait time to the transmitting assembly, and estimating a property of the earth formation based on the echo train detected by the receiving assembly in response to the pulse sequence.

Multi-dimensional scanner for nano-second time scale signal detection
09835557 · 2017-12-05 · ·

A device and system for measuring the multidimensional distribution of a sample tagged with a short life fluorescent label. The substance applied to a sample holder can be scanned with an optical point source excitation and read back optical stage. The sample can be excited at each of a plurality of points with a fast, e.g., nanosecond pulse of light. The resulting fluorescence can be detected after the excitation is extinguished. A detection gate window can be optimized to maximize the fluorescence signal detected for a predetermined amount of time.
