WELDING DEFECT INSPECTION METHOD
The present technology relates to a method of inspecting a welding defect. The method includes: manufacturing an electrode assembly sample by welding an electrode lead on an electrode tab formed on an electrode assembly; measuring a tensile strength, a torsional strength and a peeling strength of a welded portion between the electrode tab and the electrode lead for the electrode assembly sample; deriving correlation between whether there is a welding defect and each of the tensile strength, the torsional strength, and the peeling strength; and deriving a reference value for determining whether there is a welding defect for the tensile strength, the torsional strength, and the peeling strength, respectively.
NANOMECHANICAL PROFILING OF BREAST CANCER MOLECULAR SUBTYPES
The invention relates to a method for classifying a tissue sample obtained from mammary carcinoma. The method comprises determining a stiffness value for each of a plurality of points on said tissue sample, resulting in a stiffness distribution, and assigning said sample to a breast cancer subtype and nodal status based on said stiffness distribution.

Rock drilling experimental device and method for simulating true triaxial conditions of deep well drilling
Disclosed are a rock drilling experimental device and a method for simulating true triaxial conditions of deep well drilling; the device includes an energy supply module, an experimental loading module, a hydraulic supply module, a parameter control module and a data acquisition module. The device provides power through the energy supply module; the experimental loading module applies three directional stresses, a liquid column pressure and a pore pressure to a rock specimen by simulating a formation environment, and simultaneously drills into the rock specimen with a bit; the hydraulic supply module provides a hydraulic pressure to the liquid column pressure, the pore pressure and the three directional stresses in the experimental loading device; and the parameter control module is used to control a displacement module of the experimental loading module to move, and adjust a displacement, the pressure and a temperature to the target values.
APPARATUS, METHOD, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEM FOR TESTING A PAVEMENT MATERIAL SAMPLE
An apparatus for testing paving samples includes a base that includes a paving sample tray about the cabinet and configured for translation relative to the cabinet. A roller is configured for imparting compressive forces to a sample carried by the sample tray. An arm is configured for moving the roller from a stowed position to an in-use position where the roller contacts the sample. A cylinder assembly having a piston therein supplies pressure forces to the arm to move the arm from the stowed position to the in-use position, wherein a depth of travel of the arm is limited by the sample. As the sample is compressed, the depth of travel increases. A measurement device is in communication with the cylinder for determining an amount of travel of the arm to thus determine an amount of compression of the sample.
CHANGE DETECTION IN MATERIAL TESTING
Disclosed is a material testing system that includes a fixture, a frame, a load sensor, a displacement sensor and a computer system coupled to the material testing system. The computer system includes one or more processors, one or more memory devices coupled to the one or more processors, one or more computer readable storage devices coupled to the one or more processors, wherein the one or more storage devices contain program code executable by the one or more processors via the one or more memory devices to implement a method for detecting a change in a material testing sequence. A computer program product that implements a method for detecting a change in a material test sequence, and methods for detecting a change in a material test sequence or fatigue test is further disclosed.
In situ data acquisition and real-time analysis system
A testing system for evaluating the performance of an electrical/electronic UUT under dynamic operating conditions. The testing system includes a dynamic testing component (e.g., a centrifuge) for applying a stimulus to the UUT, and an iDAQ system configured to perform in situ data acquisition and real-time data analysis. The iDAQ system may also be subject to the stimulus. The iDAQ system includes a processor (e.g., an SoC) component, a power supply, a CR/I component, an IR component, and a single enclosure. The processor component may control the dynamic testing component, including varying in real-time the stimulus applied to the UUT. The processor component may include multiple input channels, and a high current/voltage subcomponent of the power supply may be configured to supply up to five hundred volts.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING CONCRETE STRENGTH
In one embodiment, a concrete strength testing system includes a core drill having a core barrel, a press associated with the core drill that is configured to drive the core barrel into concrete to be tested, a force sensor associated with the core drill that is configured to measure a force with which the core barrel is driven into the concrete by the press, and a depth measurement device configured to measure a depth into the concrete to which the core barrel is driven by the press.
