POWDER MASS MEASUREMENTS IN CONTAINERS

An example of an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a container to store a powder. The apparatus includes a flow generator to move a gas to the container. The flow generator is to move the gas at a first velocity and a second velocity, the first velocity to fluidize the powder in a fluidized state, and the second velocity to pass through stationary powder in a powder pack. The apparatus includes pressure sensors to measure pressures in the container. The apparatus includes a measurement engine in communication with the pressure sensors, wherein the measurement engine is to calculate a mass of the powder based on a fluidized pressure differential and based on a pack pressure differential.

Magnetic suspension thermobalance based on quick photothermal heating and measurement method thereof

A magnetic suspension thermobalance based on quick photothermal heating comprises a sealed container, a reaction tank, a magnetic suspension device, a laser displacement monitoring component, a photothermal heating component and a photothermal heating component displacement device. A method comprises following steps: weighing a testing sample and adding same into the reaction tank; putting the reaction tank into the sealed container together with a magnetic suspension float; causing the magnetic suspension float to float in the sealed container; introducing gas into the sealed container; measuring the real-time position of the magnetic suspension float, and causing same to a measurement zero point; heating the reaction tank; maintaining a heating beam on the reaction tank; measuring the temperature of the testing sample in the reaction tank; and recording the displacement of the magnetic suspension float, and converting said displacement into mass.

RAPID ANALYSIS OF LIVE CELLS

A method of rapid functional analysis of cells is provided. A body fluid sample is introduced into a reservoir of a measurement instrument. A living cell is loaded directly from the body fluid sample into a channel of the measurement instrument in the absence of long-term cell culturing, cell passaging, and application of long-term drug pressure to cells. A functional biomarker of the living cells is measured while the living cell flows through the channel. The functional biomarker measured may be mass accumulation rate (MAR) or mass change. The measurement instrument may be a suspended microchannel resonator (SMR).

Radiographic image processing apparatus, scattered radiation correction method, and computer readable storage medium

A radiographic image processing apparatus includes a hardware processor, which determines the intensity of an edge in a radiographic image obtained by radiographically imaging a subject, sets a weighting factor to be used in extracting a frequency component from the radiographic image according to a determination result of the edge intensity, extracts the frequency component from the radiographic image using the weighting factor having been set, multiplies the extracted frequency component by a scattered radiation content rate to estimate a scattered radiation component in the radiographic image, multiplies the estimated scattered radiation component by a scattered radiation removal rate to generate a scattered radiation image representing the scattered radiation component to be removed from the radiographic image, and performs scattered radiation correction on the radiographic image by subtracting the scattered radiation image from the radiographic image.

FIELD FILTRATION ASSEMBLY FOR INJECTION WATER QUALITY ASSESSMENT AND MONITORING
20200298183 · 2020-09-24 ·

An adjustable filtration assembly performs water filtration tests from a sample point. A container contains a water solution. An inlet valve enables a flow of the water solution into the container. An adjustable pressure regulator valve regulates the flow. A relief valve releases a portion of the water solution when a pressure of the water solution exceeds a threshold pressure. A differential pressure gauge displays a current pressure reading of the water solution in the container, receives adjustments specifying a specific pressure to be maintained, maintains the specific pressure of the water solution, and triggers the relief valve when the pressure exceeds the specific pressure. An outlet valve, when opened, outputs a measured volume of the water solution. A filter membrane mounted in the outlet valve filters solids from the measured volume. A relative plugging index (RPI) of the water solution is determined based on a weight of the solids.
