Tracking device with mode and battery life
A tracking device with a screen that displays the mode of the tracking device on a screen. The device modes may include sleep mode, monitor mode, locate mode, and emergency mode. Each mode represents a frequency of transmission and which can be changed by the software developer or by the consumer in their software application. The sleep mode will be the fewest frequency pings and may be the mode in which the tracking device is operating while it is in a geofence. Monitor mode will be a higher frequency of pings and a locate mode may be yet a further increased number of pings per given time interval. The emergency mode will be entered when, for example, the pet is outside of the geofence and the owner needs to receive an intense number of pings to assure proper location, especially if the pet is moving. A charge may be made to the customer to enable readouts showing the mode and battery life left, and that the revenues derived from the customer, and in the case where the tracking device is used for pets, may be shared with the pet store. The user will be able to know the battery life remaining in any of the modes. The software application will communicate with the tracking device to change the frequency of the pings.
Systems and methods for providing sanitary touch interface experiences
A sanitary method and system of providing touch interface experiences to users of public devices are disclosed. In one aspect, the system and method are configured to deploy a clean, protective barrier across a touchscreen for each user of the public device. The barrier includes a transparent membrane that permits the user to provide touch-based inputs to the touchscreen through the barrier. In cases where the touch interface is generated by a projector, the system and method are configured to deploy a membrane that serves as a disposable screen for the projected interface. Once each user completes their session, the system automatically replaces the used membrane with a fresh membrane, ensuring subsequent users are not exposed to contaminants or residue from previous user sessions.

A NOVEL MEANS OF ASSESSING MUSCULAR FUNCTION AND FRAILTY
The present invention is directed to a device for measuring muscular fatigue through obtaining a signal generated by repetitive motions of a human body. The present invention features a system for measuring movements of one or more muscles of a body of a user in order to track muscular fatigue. The system may comprise an object. The system may further comprise a motion sensor configured to measure signals in response to a stimulation and transmit said signal to a computing device. The stimulation may comprise an action carried out repetitively over an interval of time. The motion sensor is configured to measure a progressive reduction in a signal over the repetitive motions and disposed relative to the one or more muscles of the body of the user. The computing device may be capable of measuring muscular fatigue by measuring parameters of the received signals and generating a muscular fatigue signal.

Device for Measuring the Orientation of a Fluid Flow Relative to an Aerodynamic Surface, in Particular of an Aircraft, Using a Magnetic Sensor
The measuring device includes a substrate intended to be arranged on an aerodynamic surface; a profiled element connected at one of its ends to the substrate, and configured to be oriented, under the effect of the fluid flow; a magnet that is secured to the profiled element and is configured to generate a magnetic field; and a measuring element that is configured to measure a value of the magnetic field and to convert this measured value of the magnetic field into an angle value indicating the direction of the fluid flow; the measuring device thus making it possible to measure and provide, in real-time, a numerical angle value with which it is possible to define with high precision the direction of the fluid flow relative to the aerodynamic surface.
Athletic performance and technique monitoring
Methods and apparatuses for athletic performance and technique monitoring are disclosed. In one example, a sensor output is received associated with a movement of a user torso during a running motion. The sensor output is analyzed to identify an undesirable torso motion.
