A juicer has a presser portion with an upper squeezing cup, an upper handle, and an upper hinge portion on the opposite side of the upper squeezing cup from the upper handle and having a through hole configured to receive a hinge pin. The juicer has a funnel portion with a lower squeezing cup having a funnel disposed at its lowest point, a lower handle, and a lower hinge portion disposed on the opposite side of the lower squeezing cup from the lower handle and having a through hole configured to receive the hinge pin. The juicer also has a removable colander between the upper squeezing cup and the lower squeezing cup.

Modular sieve and juicing apparatus

A modular sieve (100) for a juicing apparatus is disclosed that comprises a first module (110) comprising a pattern of first protrusions (112) having first edge regions (113); and a second module (120) comprising a pattern of second protrusions (122) having second edge regions (123) for adjoining neighbouring first edge regions when the first module is engaged with the second module, wherein each first edge region and an adjoining second edge region delimit a plurality of apertures (150) for passing juice. A juicing apparatus including such a modular sieve is also disclosed.

The present disclosure provides a strainer arrangement. The strainer arrangement comprises a first colander having a substantially rigid rim and at least one handle member with an aperture formed therein. The strainer arrangement also comprises a second colander having a substantially rigid rim and at least one handle member with a tab projecting from a bottom side thereof. The first colander and the second colander are of substantially same shape for stacking of the second colander into the first colander such that when stacked, the tab in the at least one handle member of the rim of the second colander engages with the aperture in the at least one handle member of the rim of the first colander for releasably locking the first colander and the second colander.

A juicer comprises a base part, a juicer body, a strainer, a threaded cutter and a feed inlet, wherein the strainer is arranged within the juicer body, the juicer body is covered over with the feed inlet and a squeezing chamber is formed between the feed inlet and the strainer, and a buffer chamber is formed between the upper portion of the threaded cutter and the lower portion of the feed inlet; a pivot joint is arranged at the top of the screw body and is pivotally connected to the inner surface of the lower portion of the feed inlet, and the upper portion of the screw body from bottom to top is tapered at first and then broadened to form a radial projecting top. The juicer has increased squeezing efficiency and juice yield, and avoids accumulation of squeezed food.

According to one embodiment, the strainer for plant milk and juice, comprising, a container having a base, an upright wall extending over the base from the periphery defining a hollow cavity, and an opening at a top of the container, one or more sieves mounted over the opening of the container, one or more mesh filters configured within each of the one or more sieves, and at least one pressing member. One or more sieves are hollow cylinders having a wall of different heights and a supporting ledge extending out from an inner surface at a bottom edge of the wall to hold the mesh filter within the sieves.

Each action can be performed multiple times before disposal. In some embodiments, the device of the present invention dispenses sweeteners, creamers, flavorings and condiments. The present invention frees the user of the inconvenience of having to collect, wash, or dispose of the stirrers, squeezers and bags of the hot drink individually.
