The voltage detector is configured to detect a voltage between both terminals of the magnetic film module.

The power meter configures a set of registers corresponding to the determined type of circuit in a manner such that the configuring is different based upon each of the single phase circuit, two phase circuit, and three phase circuit suitable to provide data corresponding to the determined type of circuit.

Eddy current detection probes and related methods are disclosed. In some embodiments, the eddy current detection probes are hybrid probes, including a solid state sensor and a detection loop. In some embodiments, the eddy current detection probes include a drive coil and a detection loop, with the detection loop having a sensitive axis that is not parallel to principal axis of the drive coil. In some such embodiments, the sensitive axis of the detection loop is perpendicular to the principal axis of the drive coil.

A method for detecting a device that generates spurious signals in an electrical network, to which several devices and at least one fault detection device are connected, includes the steps of monitoring the electrical network for electrical spurious signals, sequentially deactivating each device for a predetermined time T when an electrical spurious signal has been detected, and checking the electrical network for the disappearance of the respective spurious signal, and signaling as soon as the respective spurious signal has disappeared upon deactivating a respective device. This makes it possible to especially reliably detect a device in an electrical network that couples an undesired spurious signal into the network.
