A system and a method of monitoring a functional status of a vehicle's electrical powering system is able to make measurements on the vehicle's electrical powering system, to diagnose problems for the vehicle's electrical powering system, and send a warning notification to the vehicle's owner. A retrofit device is electrically coupled to the vehicle's electrical powering system so that the retrofit device is able to periodically make voltage readings. The retrofit device stores and analyzes those voltage readings so that the retrofit device is able to predict any malfunctions or failure that may occur for the vehicle's electrical power system. If retrofit device does predict a malfunction or failure in the vehicle's electrical powering system, then the retrofit device would output a warning notification either through the retrofit device itself or another external computing device.

Circuit board comprising a rectifier bridge

Circuit board comprising a printed circuit comprising phase conductors, each of which is arranged so as to be connected to one phase of a multiphase line, the circuit board further comprising a rectifier bridge comprising phase diodes that are mounted on one and the same face of the printed circuit, the phase diodes comprising, for each phase conductor, one pair of phase diodes comprising a first phase diode having an anode that is connected to said phase conductor and a second phase diode having a cathode that is connected to said phase conductor, the pairs of phase diodes lying in succession along a positioning axis on the face of the printed circuit, the first phase diode and the second phase diode of each pair of phase diodes being positioned in parallel but inverted with respect to each other.

SUPERCONDUCTING CURRENT CONTROL SYSTEM

One example includes a superconducting current control system. The system includes an inductive coupler comprising a load inductor and a control inductor. The inductive coupler can be configured to inductively provide a control current from the control inductor to a superconducting circuit device based on a load current being provided through the load inductor. The system also includes a current control element comprising a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) array comprising a plurality of SQUIDs. The current control element can be coupled to the inductive coupler to control an amplitude of the load current through the load inductor, and thus to control an amplitude of the control current to the superconducting circuit device.
