Subcircuit physical level power monitoring technology for real-time hardware systems and simulators
Methods and systems, include, in one aspect, a system including: receiving a total static power indicating a static power dissipation from a complete circuit, wherein the circuit comprises a plurality of components; receiving dynamic power weights indicating changes in the static power dissipation from the complete circuit over time; applying an algorithm including the dynamic power weights to partition the total static power, based on the changes in the static power, into a summation of individual per-component static power values, wherein the per-component static power values indicate a decomposition of the static power dissipation from the complete circuit into separate amounts of per-component static power dissipation corresponding to each of the plurality of components; and processing the per-component static power to evaluate a performance of the circuit, the plurality of components, or both.
System and method to measure salinity of multi-phase fluids
A method of determining salinity of multi-phase fluids in a conduit includes exciting a sensing device to cause emission of electromagnetic waves of one or more frequencies into the multi-phase fluid. The method includes receiving transmitted or reflected electromagnetic waves from the multi-phase fluid. Furthermore, the method includes determining an intermediate parameter from the received electromagnetic waves. The method also includes obtaining estimated values of a plurality of parameters from the intermediate parameter. The estimated values comprise at least one of an estimated value of conductance, an estimated value of susceptance, an estimated value of differential conductance, an estimated value of differential susceptance, an estimated value of a real part of complex permittivity, and an estimated value of an imaginary part of complex permittivity. Salinity of the fluid is determined based, at least in part, on the estimated values of the plurality of parameters.
ANALYSIS CONTROL SYSTEM
A first power consumption measuring unit 5 measures only the power consumption of a pump 21 that is a reference unit of a liquid chromatograph 2. A second power consumption measuring unit 6 measures only the power consumption of a gas chromatograph main body 31 that is a reference unit of a gas chromatograph 3. An operating information acquiring unit acquires pieces of operating information on an automatic sampler 22, an oven 23, and a detector 24 that are target units of the liquid chromatograph 2 based on information on the power consumption of the pump 21. The operating information acquiring unit acquires the operating information on a head space sampler 32 that is a target unit of the gas chromatograph 3 based on information on the power consumption of the gas chromatograph main body 31. Thus, even in the case where the analyzer includes many target units, only the power consumption of the reference units is measured, and the operating time period calculating unit can acquire the pieces of operating information on the target units from the power consumption of the reference units.
