The antenna system includes an antenna array for beamforming and is configured either as a radar sensor, a communications antenna or a combined radar sensor. Training Algorithm For Collision Avoidance Using Auditory Data
A machine learning model is trained by defining a scenario including models of vehicles and a typical driving environment. A model of a subject vehicle is added to the scenario and sensor locations are defined on the subject vehicle. A perception of the scenario by sensors at the sensor locations is simulated. The scenario further includes a model of a parked vehicle with its engine running. The location of the parked vehicle and the simulated outputs of the sensors perceiving the scenario are input to a machine learning algorithm that trains a model to detect the location of the parked vehicle based on the sensor outputs. A vehicle controller then incorporates the machine learning model and estimates the presence and/or location of a parked vehicle with its engine running based on actual sensor outputs input to the machine learning model.
Motion detection device
A motion detection device is provided. The motion detection device includes a first antenna, a voltage-controlled oscillator, a phase detector and a signal processing unit. The first antenna receives a first signal generated by a second signal reflected by a target object, so as to output the first signal to the phase detector or the voltage-controlled oscillator. The voltage-controlled oscillator receives first signal or the second signal and receives a frequency adjustment signal, so as to generate an oscillating signal according to the frequency adjustment signal and the one of the first signal and the second signal. The phase detector receives the oscillating signal and another one of the first signal and the second signal, and generates a first phase output signal and a second phase output signal. The signal processing unit estimates motion parameters of the target object according to the first and the second phase output signal.

Proposed are a method and apparatus for performing sensing in a wireless LAN system. In detail, a transmission STA transmits a first trigger frame that requests sensing from a reception STA. The transmission STA receives a response frame to the first trigger frame from the reception STA. The transmission STA transmits a second trigger frame that requests a first sensing frame from the reception STA. The transmission STA receives the first sensing frame from the reception STA. The transmission STA performs channel measurement on the basis of the first sensing frame and obtains sensing information.

Computerized method and system for estimating a rain attribute on microwave communications, the estimation being carried out by: obtaining quantized minimum and maximum levels of received signals and transmitted signals over a microwave link during a period; subtracting the quantized maximum level of received signals from the quantized minimum level of transmitted signals to provide a minimal attenuation value; subtracting the quantized minimal level of received signals from the quantized maximal level of transmitted signals to provide a maximal attenuation value; calculating an attenuation difference related to the period by subtracting the minimal attenuation value from the maximal attenuation value; calculating a bias compensated attenuation difference based on the attenuation difference, and bias value related to the microwave link; and calculating the rain attribute, including the average rain during the period, based on the bias compensated attenuation difference.
Assisted Radar Congestion Mitigation
Embodiments include methods for managing operation of a first radar system executed by a processor of a first user equipment (UE) of a first vehicle having the first radar system. In various embodiments, a processor of a first UE of the first vehicle may receive at the first UE from a base station, a wireless communication control message including radar transmission configuration information or radar reception interference information regarding the radar signals from a second radar system of a second vehicle having a second UE. Some embodiments may use the radar transmission configuration information or radar reception interference information received from the base station to manage operation of the first radar system.
