SPRAYING SYSTEM HAVING A LIQUID FLOW AND ROTATING SPEED FEEDBACK
A method of controlling a work schedule of a spraying system of a mobile platform includes receiving operating characteristics of the spraying system, generating a control signal related to the work schedule based on the operating characteristics, and controlling the spraying system according to the control signal.
System and method for adjusting the correlation between a visual display perspective and a flight path of an aircraft
Methods are provided for adjusting any correlation between a visual display perspective and a default display view of an aircraft. The method comprises determining the default display view for an inflight aircraft and determining the orientation of the visual display for the crew of the aircraft. The default display view is compared with the orientation of the visual display to determine if the visual display's perspective needs to be transitioned to reflect the default display view. If the display does need to be changed, the rate of transition of the visual display's perspective is selected based on current aircraft performance parameters.
Method for operating a GNSS receiver, with GNSS signal deselection
A Global Navigation Satellite System receiver for position determination receives from a multitude of satellites a respective GNSS code signal, which are correlated with a reference code signal to obtain an autocorrelation function. A multitude of function values of the autocorrelation function at different discrete chip spacings (chosen asymmetrically with respect to a prompt chip spacing) are analyzed and used in obtaining a test metric. Using the test metric, a decision is made whether the received GNSS code signal is suitable or unsuitable (thereafter excluded) for a position determination due to multipath signal components. A bias removal is performed taking into account corresponding function values of an autocorrelation function that would result from a received GNSS code signal of the satellite unaffected by multipath signal components. This provides a simple method for operating a GNSS receiver minimizing errors in position determination caused by multipath signal components.
USING RANGING OVER C-V2X TO SUPPLEMENT AND ENHANCE GPS PERFORMANCE
On-board equipment in a motor vehicle includes a C-V2X communication device receiving a first signal from road side equipment having a known position. The C-V2X communication device transmits a second signal having content that is dependent upon a length of time in which the first signal traveled from the road side equipment to the C-V2X communication device. A GPS device is communicatively coupled to the C-V2X communication device and receives the second signal from the C-V2X communication device. The GPS device estimates a position of the vehicle. The estimating is dependent upon the second signal from the C-V2X communication device.
SYNCHRONIZED CPDMA (CODE PHASE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS)
A communications protocol in accordance with one exemplary embodiment uses information from GPS satellites to synchronize the phases of transmitters, and aligns the phase with a spreading code used to de-spread the received signals at, for example, a ground station.
Stereoscopic distance measuring apparatus, stereoscopic distance measuring method, and computer readable medium
Provided are a stereoscopic distance measuring apparatus and method, and a computer readable program. The apparatus includes first and second optical cameras, first and second position-posture meters, an image corrector, and a stereoscopic distance measuring unit. The first and second position-posture meters acquire first and second position-posture information regarding the first and second optical cameras. The image corrector corrects, on the basis of the first and second position-posture information, positions and orientations of a plurality of first and second images taken by the first and second optical cameras, to generate a plurality of first and second corrected images. The stereoscopic distance measuring unit calculates a distance to a photographing target, on the basis of a pair of the corrected images including one of the plurality of the first corrected images and one of the plurality of the second corrected images.

Method of distribution and/or update of a no fly zones database for UAV vehicles, and vehicle thereof
Method of distribution and/or update of a No Fly Zones database stored aboard UAV vehicles. The distribution and/or update utilize the satellite infrastructure and the receivers installed aboard said UAV vehicles in order to establish a one-way communication channel that allows the NFZ database, or a portion thereof, to be periodically sent to the UAV vehicles.
SATELLITE RELAYING FOR GEOLOCATION AND MITIGATION OF GNSS DENIAL
Satellite relaying for geolocation and mitigation of GNSS denial are provided, where a method comprises: receiving, by a processing device from a communication satellite along a communication path, a message initiated at a transmission time by a transmitting device, the communication path having a target device with an unknown distance to the communication satellite; determining, by the device, a reception time upon receiving the message; determining, by the device, a time of travel of the message associated with only traversal of a portion of the communication that is path between the communication satellite and the target device based on a difference between the transmission time and the reception time; calculating, by the device, a distance between the communication satellite and the target device based on the time of travel; and performing, by the device, one or more actions based on the distance between the communication satellite and the target device.
CONSTRUCTION JOBSITE COMPUTER DATA NETWORK AND LOCATION SYSTEM
A jobsite computer network has a local server connectable to a remote server via the internet, a network access transceiver connected to the local server, and a wireless device in wireless communication with the network access transceiver. The network access transceiver receives a message from the wireless device and sends a message to the local server. The local server utilizes information from the message to determine the location of the wireless device. The network access transceiver and/or the wireless device generate data which is sent to the remote server.
