The invention concerns a process for the preparation of a beverage in a beverage machine with a capsule comprising an enclosure containing tea leaves comprising the steps of: a) introducing water in the capsule to submerge the tea leaves in the capsule enclosure, then b) letting the tea leaves soak, then c) introducing water in the capsule until the required volume of beverage is delivered, wherein water is continuously introduced in the capsule from the beginning of step a) until the end of step b).

A beverage filtering cartridge for obtaining beverages, such as coffee, tea or the like, is provided. The beverage filtering cartridge includes an impermeable cup-shaped container, a filtering element, an impermeable cover and a removable instrument. The container has a first opening and a second opening which is smaller than the first opening. The first opening is sealed with the impermeable cover and the second opening is blocked by the removable instrument. The filtering element is located in the container so as to divide the container into two chambers. The tea or coffee will be located between the filtering element and the impermeable cover. When the consumer uses the cartridge by a machine, the consumer must remove the removable instrument and then put the cartridge into the machine. The machine injects water into the cartridge so as to quickly brew the drink, i.e. tea or coffee.

A beverage filtering cartridge for obtaining beverages, such as coffee, tea or the like, is provided. The beverage filtering cartridge includes an impermeable cup-shaped container, a filtering element, an impermeable cover and a removable instrument. The container has a first opening and a second opening which is smaller than the first opening. The first opening is sealed with the impermeable cover and the second opening is blocked by the removable instrument. The filtering element is located in the container so as to divide the container into two chambers. The tea or coffee will be located between the filtering element and the impermeable cover. A portable coffee brewing device includes a lid pivotally connected to an upper end of the container by a hinge and button. A heating element housing and an electrical component housing is connected to a lower end of the container. A drain is positioned in a bottom wall of the container and is fluidly connected to a heating element positioned within the heating element housing. The heating element is controlled by electrical components positioned in the electrical components housing. A drip tube is fluidly connected to the heating element and the lid. A single serve coffee holding device is positioned below the lid. When the container is filled with fluid and the heating element is powered, heated fluid is forced up the drip tube through the passageway in the lid and into the coffee grounds holding device in a continuous cycle. The device is connectable to an external power source.

A compacting auger for ground coffee has an automatic cut off that responds to either timing signals or to the torque resistance to the augur offered by the coffee that has been compacted. The automation of the cut off increases the consistency of compaction and reduces the amount of skill required to compact ground coffee for making espresso.

The embodiment relates to beverage dispensing, and more particularly to the dispensing of a beverage, from a beverage container into a vessel, providing a portion of the beverage as foam atop the dispensed beverage. To avoid the reduction of absorbed carbon dioxide in a carbonated beverage, increased atmospheric pressure is employed to move the beverage from the container through the apparatus and into the vessel. An oscillating means provides a sonic wave through a conduit and the liquid therein; the sonic wave initiates the reaction between the carbon dioxide and the ingredients in a carbonated beverage to cause the liquid to foam prior to dispensing into the vessel.

A portable coffee brewing device includes a lid pivotally connected to an upper end of the container by a hinge and button. A heating element housing and an electrical component housing is connected to a lower end of the container. A drain is positioned in a bottom wall of the container and is fluidly connected to a heating element positioned within the heating element housing. The heating element is controlled by electrical components positioned in the electrical components housing. A drip tube is fluidly connected to the heating element and the lid. A single serve coffee holding device is positioned below the lid. When the container is filled with fluid and the heating element is powered, heated fluid is forced up the drip tube through the passageway in the lid and into the coffee grounds holding device in a continuous cycle. The device is connectable to an external power source.

A beverage dispenser has a housing in which a first liquid inlet is connectable to a base liquid source. The housing also contains a second liquid inlet connectable to a base liquid source or to a pressurized gas source and a pair of jet mixers. First and second liquid lines connect the respective first and second liquid inlets and jet mixers. A first ingredient container contains a first beverage ingredient, the pod or capsule provided in a first ingredient container receiving means, and a second ingredient container containing a second beverage ingredient, the ingredient container provided in a second ingredient container receiving means. The first and second ingredient containers are configured such that upon providing a liquid stream in the respective liquid lines, the beverage ingredient is discharged from the ingredient container into the liquid stream. A beverage outlet is in liquid communication with the jet mixer.

Disclosed is a hand drip coffee maker which includes: a support unit on which a storage container is seated; a ground coffee hopper which is installed on the support unit through a hopper holder, and accommodates ground coffee therein; a mounting post which is installed on the support unit; an arm unit which includes a link arm that is rotatably installed at an upper side of the mounting post so that a tip portion of the link arm is disposed to face the ground coffee hopper; a dripper nozzle which is mounted to the tip portion of the link arm so as to supply water into the ground coffee hopper; and a syrup nozzle which is mounted to the tip portion of the link arm so as to supply syrup into the storage container.

A device for preparing tea using a tea bag which dunks the bag for a selected amount of time, then removes the bag from the tea to end the infusion process. The device allows for a more convenient way to brew healthier and more precisely made tea.
