Telescope and telescope series
A relay optical system (RL) of this telescope has arranged therein, in the following order from the object side: a first lens group (G1) having positive refractive power; a second lens group (G2) having positive refractive power; a third lens group (G3) having positive refractive power; a fourth lens group (G4) having negative refractive power; and a fifth lens group (G5) having positive refractive power, wherein the magnification of the telescope can be changed by causing an image formed on a first image plane (IM1) to be re-formed on a second image plane (IM2) and further causing the second lens group (G2) and the third lens group (G3) to move along the optical axis, and thereby varying the image-forming magnification of the relay optical system (RL).
Planar optical telescope and related methods
An optical telescope may include an array of optical lenslets in a common plane, and optical waveguides extending from respective optical lenslets and each having a common optical path delay. Further, at least one optical star coupler may be downstream from the optical waveguides, and an optical detector may be downstream from the at least one optical star coupler and having an optical image formed thereon.

Method for producing a digital image, associated computer program product and optical system
An optical system for restoring a natural image combined with a digital image, in order to characterise and highlight the objects represented on the natural image. The optical system includes an objective lens, an eyepiece, a semi-reflective plate, a processing unit, capturing capabilities and restoring capabilities. Other embodiments relate to a method for producing such a digital image.
ZOOM CELL
A zoom cell has a main zoom cell body having a central axis, at least two fingers extending from the main zoom cell body parallel to the central axis, and at least two grooves separating the at least two fingers. A zoom cell system has at least two zoom cells disposed in an erector tube, with the fingers of the at least two zoom cells pointed towards one another, with the at least two zoom cells positioned such that the fingers of a first of the at least two zoom cells align so as to correspond with at least one of the at least two grooves of the other of the at least two zoom cells.
DEVICE FOR CAPTURING A LONG EXPOSURE IMAGE
The invention relates to a field of capturing images requiring a long exposure, e.g., when photographing faint objects. The device comprises an image formation unit, an image capture unit, a primary shutter and a secondary shutter connected to at least one disturbance detector via a control unit.
Optical surveying instrument
The invention relates to optical surveying such as in building construction, road construction, landscaping and similar. A first image sensor obtains in a first wavelength range a first image of a scene within a field of view captured by an optical arrangement such as a telescope. A light emitter emits light in a second wavelength range and a second image sensor obtains a second image of the field of view in the second wavelength range. A target position of a reflecting target is found in the first image by detecting a known image pattern of the reflecting target in the first image. A region of interest in the second image is then a defined based on the identified target position in the first image, for detecting a reflector position of a reflector of the reflecting target in the region of interest. With the invention it becomes possible to improve the identification of a reflective target at reduced processing time, even if reflections from other objects than the reflective target are present.

Erecting system and binocular telescope for laser ranging
An erecting system and a binocular telescope for laser ranging. The erecting system includes a roof half penta prism, a beam splitting prism and an isosceles prism. The beam splitting prism is positioned between the roof half penta prism and the isosceles prism. The beam splitting prism is formed by bonding two right-angle prisms. A beam splitting film is arranged on a bonding surface of the two right-angle prisms. The erecting system not only has simple structure and small occupation volume, but also is convenient in use, can realize the binocular observation and targeting at a measured object, and can display the distance of the measured object in real time in the field of view while observing the object.
Optical system of a stereo-video endoscope
An optical system of a stereo-video endoscope with a sideways viewing direction, the optical system including: a sideways-viewing distal optical assembly; and a proximal optical assembly; wherein the distal optical assembly includes an inlet lens, a deflecting unit configured as a prism unit, and an outlet lens on a common optical axis one after the other in the direction of light incidence, the proximal optical assembly includes a left and a right lens system channel, the lens system channels being identically configured and arranged parallel to each other, each lens system channel having its own optical axis, and the outlet lens is formed with one or more of a light-impermeable coating on a light inlet side facing the deflecting unit and with a light-impermeable coating formed on a light outlet side facing away from the deflecting unit in a central region of the outlet lens.
