Medical illuminator with variable polarization

A device for variable polarization by an illumination device for illuminating organic tissue. The device includes a first set of one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs), a first polarizer arranged to polarize light emitted from the first set of LEDs in a first polarization direction, a second set of one or more LEDs, a second polarizer arranged to polarize light emitted from the second set of LEDs in a second polarization direction. A lens is arranged to collect light from organic tissue illuminated by the first and/or second sets of LEDs including a viewing polarizer arranged to polarize the light collected from the organic tissue in the second polarization direction. A signal generator is operable to signal one or more drivers for driving one of the first and second sets according a signal value and driving the other of the first and second sets according to an inverse value thereof.

OPTICAL DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING TUBULAR PART-USING PRODUCT

An optical device includes an impact position adjusting part which is an operation adjusting part. The impact position adjusting part includes a rotating operation part, a shaft part, a fixed tubular part which is a first tubular part formed with outer peripheral recesses-projections, and a rotating tubular part which is a second tubular part formed with inner peripheral recesses-projections. According to an operation of a user, the rotating operation part moves together with the rotating tubular part to a rotatable position at which the outer peripheral recesses-projections and the inner peripheral recesses-projections are separated, and a rotation prohibited position at which the outer peripheral recesses-projections and the inner peripheral recesses-projections are engaged. In a vicinity of an end part on a side close to the rotating tubular part, a width of a projection of the outer peripheral recesses-projections of the fixed tubular part gradually decreases toward the end part.

Augmented reality glasses include a left eye lens part and a right eye lens part, each of the left eye lens part and the right eye lens part having a display area configured to display an augmented reality image, and a tracking area surrounding the display area, the tracking area including a plurality of light emission parts configured to emit light having a wavelength in an infrared band, and a frame including a left eye lens support area, a right eye lens support area, and a nose bridge connecting the left lens support area and the right lens support area, the left eye lens support area supporting the left eye lens part, and the right eye lens support area supporting the right eye lens part.

TUNABLE ATTENUATION OF LIGHT TRANSMISSION ARTIFACTS IN WEARABLE DISPLAYS

A method for displaying an image using a wearable display system including directing display light from a display towards a user through an eyepiece to project images in the user's field of view, determining a relative location between an ambient light source and the eyepiece, and adjusting an attenuation of ambient light from the ambient light source through the eyepiece depending on the relative location between the ambient light source and the eyepiece.

POLYMER EYEPIECE ASSEMBLIES FOR AUGMENTED AND MIXED REALITY SYSTEMS

Fabrication of augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) polymer eyepiece assemblies and the resulting AR/MR polymer eyepiece assemblies may include one or more features, separately or in any appropriate combination, to compensate for expected deformation and to maintain substantially uniform gaps between polymer layers. Such features include fabricating polymer eyepiece assemblies with components having coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE) that are substantially the same; modifying the surface chemistry or structure of one or more polymer layers to increase hydrophobicity or omniphobicity of the polymer layer; disposing adhesive between adjacent polymer layers in continuous and/or extended configurations; and disposing microspheres of different sizes at selected locations between polymer layers.

User Wearable Fluorescence Enabled Visualization System

A user-wearable fluorescence based visualization system comprising a multi-light lamp assembly that provides for the selected output of light using multiple light emitting sources, wherein the outputted light may be tailored to generate response wavelength by the interaction of the emitted light and a tissue illuminated by the emitted light, through the process of fluorescence, and a viewing system that allows a practitioner view the fluorescent light generated by the tissue, and distinguish between healthy and diseased tissues.

ENHANCED VISION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20210382303 · 2021-12-09 ·

An enhanced vision system includes a first optic subsystem and a transparent photodetector subsystem disposed within a common housing. The first optic subsystem may include passive devices such as simple or compound lenses, active devices such as low-light enhancing image intensifiers, or a combination of passive and active devices. The transparent photodetector subsystem receives the visible image exiting the first optic subsystem and converts a portion of the electromagnetic energy in the visible image to a signal communicated to image analysis circuitry. On a real-time or near real-time basis, the image analysis circuitry detects and identifies structures, objects, and/or individuals in the visible image. The image analysis circuitry provides an output that includes information regarding the structure, objects, and individuals to the system user contemporaneous with the system user viewing the visible image.

MAGNIFYING CAP FOR PRESCRIPTION BOTTLE
20210382295 · 2021-12-09 ·

A magnifying cap for a prescription bottle is disclosed. The cap has a magnifying lens retained within the cap between a top aperture and an opening at the bottom end. The magnifying lens is oriented to provide a magnification of indicia carried on an outer surface of the prescription bottle, when viewed through the aperture and the opening. An illumination source may be provided around a periphery of the magnifying lens to illuminate the indicia for better viewing.
