SOLID FUEL COOKING RANGE
A solid fuel cooking range is described herein. Embodiments enable the user to cook food on an upper grill while simultaneously heating a separate dish in a lower oven. In certain embodiments, heat may be applied to the oven from both the top and bottom. Heat and airflow may be controlled using a shroud which does not enclose the sides of the upper cooking area and separate end plates. Embodiments may be portable and lightweight which enables the solid fuel cooking range to be used while traveling and in emergency situations.

Roasting Post
A roasting post comprises a rod having a first end and a second end. The first end is configured to be inserted into the ground. A brace perpendicular to the rod is located at or near the second end. The brace comprises at least one counterbalance hook configured to receive a skewer such that the skewer is held substantially perpendicular to the ground while any food items on the skewer are held over a fire.
COOKING APPARATUS FOR SMOKING FOOD
An apparatus for smoking food includes a pot having a floor, a sidewall extending upwardly from the floor to an upward edge, and an interior cooking region formed within the sidewall above the floor. A tube extends through the floor into the interior cooking region, forming a first opening adjacent the floor, a second opening adjacent the upward edge, and a height from the first to the second openings. A lid has a perimeter edge to engage the upward edge of the pot. The tube height and the lid location above the tube when engaged with the upward edge provides a smoke passageway from the first opening, through the second opening, into the interior cooking region. A method includes cooking food in an alternate cooking apparatus for an initial time period, after which the food is transferred to the smoking pot apparatus. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

Food cooker
A method for cooking food can include placing food within an interior of a cook base, a ledge contacting the cook base, a fire ring positioned around the cook base, the fire ring, ledge, and cook base side wall defining a combustible heat source containment area exterior to the cook base side wall; mating a cover to a top edge of the cook base to define a substantially sealed interior cooking chamber, the cover including a cover heat source containment area; placing a first heat source within the combustible heat source containment area; placing a second heat source within the cover heat search containment area of the cover; and igniting the first heat source and the second heat source to cook the food within the substantially sealed interior cooking chamber.

GRILL WITH FLAT TOP GRIDDLE AND VERTICALLY ADJUSTABLE SWINGING ACCESSORIES
A live-fire grill has been developed with a central opening and one or more adjustable accessories. In one example, the central opening is covered by a central grate to provide a more typical grilling experience. In another example, the central grate is raised to prevent food loss down the central opening. Surrounding the central opening is a griddle with an outer periphery defining a retention ledge. The retention ledge serves as a backstop to prevent food falling off the griddle and onto the ground. Attached to the grill is one or more rods holding one or more adjustable accessories. The accessories automatically lock in position and may be adjusted both horizontally and vertically. In one example, the accessory is an adjustable grate with 360 degrees of rotation.

Fire cooking grill
A fire cooking grill includes a base, a post extending upwardly from the base along a axial centerline of the post, an arm pivotably coupled to the post to pivot about a first axis perpendicular to the centerline, a cooking platform pivotably coupled to the arm for pivotal movement about a second axis perpendicular to the centerline, a link having a first portion pivotably coupled to the post about a third axis perpendicular to the centerline and a second portion pivotably couple to the cooking platform about a fourth axis perpendicular to the centerline and a retainer selectively retaining the arm in one of a plurality of available angles about the first axis. In one implementation, fire cooking grill additionally comprises a swivel facilitating rotation of the cooking platform about the centerline of the post.
