HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY
A predetermined convergence angle is maintained, and strength is improved. Accordingly, there are provided an image generator that generates an image, a pair of optical plates to be arranged in front of both eyes of an observer who observes the image, the pair of optical plates causing the image to be displayed, a first frame that holds the pair of optical plates, and a second frame including a to-be-fixed part, in which a fixing part to which the to-be-fixed part is fixed is provided at the central part of the first frame in the horizontal direction.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPTICAL MEASUREMENT OF AN INTERNAL CONTOUR OF A SPECTACLE FRAME
An apparatus and a method for optical measurement of an internal contour of a spectacle frame are disclosed. The apparatus contains an optical unit, which is configured to capture light reflected from an illuminated section of the inner contour of the spectacle frame. The optical unit is insertable into the inner contour of the spectacle frame and, when inserted as intended, is rotatable relative to the spectacle frame. The optical unit contains at least one light source, an objective, and at least one optical sensor, wherein the light source is configured to generate a light section, wherein at least one section of the inner contour is illuminable by the light section, wherein the objective is configured to image the illuminated section of the inner contour onto the optical sensor, and wherein the optical sensor is configured to capture the light reflected by the illuminated section of the inner contour.
Eyewear supporting electrical components and apparatus therefor
Techniques for providing eyewear with electrical components are disclosed. The electrical components can provide electrical technology to eyewear without having to substantially compromise aesthetic design principles of the eyewear. The electrical components can be partially or completely internal to eyewear. The electrical components can also be attached to the eyewear as an after-market enhancement. The electrical components can operate independently or together with other electrical components provided elsewhere. Apparatus for presenting after-market electrical components are also disclosed.
AUDIO EYEGLASSES WITH DOUBLE-DETENT HINGE
Various aspects include audio eyeglasses with a frame including: a lens region; a pair of arms extending from the lens region; a hinge coupling each of the pair of arms with the lens region; and a cable extending through each hinge, where each hinge includes: a body defining a cavity accommodating the cable; and a hinge mechanism within the body, the hinge mechanism having: a spring located in the lens region, the spring including at least one lever arm extending within the cavity; and a cam member contacting the lever arm of the spring, where the cam member includes: a first contact surface for resisting kickback from the spring when the audio eyeglasses are in a fully open position, and a second, distinct contact surface for resisting kickback from the spring when the audio eyeglasses are in a fully closed position.
Eyewear frames and production method
The invention relates to an eyewear frame, comprising a forehead part with two ends and arranged to extend around the eyes of a user when worn and two temple parts each extending rearwardly from a front of the eyewear frame, and from each end of the forehead part. The forehead part and the temple part being moulded together in a single mould from a first polymer material and comprising a plastic hinge located at the junction of each end of the forehead part and each temple part, said plastic hinge being formed by a region of the polymer material having thickness which is significantly less than the thickness of corresponding forehead part ends and temple parts adjacent the plastic hinge region, such that the temple parts may be moved about the plastic hinge with respect to the forehead part between an open position in which the eyewear may be worn on a user's head, and a closed position in which the temple parts are arranged approximately parallel to the forehead part and the eyewear may be more conveniently stowed when not in use. The plastic hinges exert a restoring force which urges the temple parts of the frame to either the closed or open position, such that the eye wear frame automatically folds back to the folded position after use, or automatically opens to the open position. The plastic hinge may be formed as a curved strip. The eyewear frame may be co-moulded with the first polymer material and a second polymer material, having a lower modulus of elasticity, or flexural modulus, than the first polymer.
Eyeglasses with easy snap-on lenses
The present invention provides a pair of eyeglasses that can adapt to different vision needs in each eye and environments of different light intensity. The eyeglasses with easy snap-on lenses allow one to select individual lens of proper vision correction for each eye, and mount the lenses to the eyeglass frame with ease and without the use of any tool.
Paper glasses and method for manufacturing the same
The present invention provides paper glasses and a method for manufacturing the same including a lens frame connected in parallel to both sides of a central bridge to fix a lens; glasses temples which are extended integrally from both sides of the lens frame and bent at an angle perpendicular to the lens frame to wear the lens frame on the face; and a support piece of which one end is fixed to the lens frame and the other end is fixed to the front end of the glasses temples to ensure a support force of the glasses temples and maintain a predetermined angle of the glasses temples.
Eyewear lens holder
A lens holder for eyeglass frames having a pliable body with a lens opening for engagement of a lens therein and a circumferential edges configured to engage with a lens aperture of an eyewear frame to hold the lens operatively positioned therein. A front surface portion extending from the pliable body contacts a front surface of the eyeglass frame and is formed with a width narrower than a rear surface portion extending from the pliable body which contacts a rear facing surface of the eyewear frame. The shorter front surface deforms under the force of a projectile contacting an engaged lens within the lens holder and dissipates the force to help maintain the lens mounted within the lens opening and prevent dismounts the full force causes when not dissipated.
Electronic device capable of adjusting distance between housings
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first housing including a first display device and a first connection unit having a first protrusion formed thereon, a second housing including a second display device coupled to the first connection unit to be movable in a predetermined direction and a second connection unit having a second protrusion formed thereon, and a circular plate including a spiral recess, the circular plate being coupled to the first protrusion and the second protrusion. The circular plate is configured such that, by rotation of the circular plate, the first protrusion and the second protrusion move in a predetermined direction, and depending on the movement, a distance between the first housing and the second housing is adjustable.
Connector, assistive device and wearable device
The present disclosure relates to a connector, an assistive device, a wearable device, and a wearable device kit. The connector includes a first magnetic connecting component; and a second magnetic connecting component detachably connected to the first magnetic connecting component by magnetic attraction. By means of the connector of the present disclosure, the assistive device can be detachably connected to the wearable device more reliably and more flexibly.
