EYEGLASS HOLDER
A wearable eyeglass holder that holds a temple of a folded pair of eyeglasses in a manner that resists the inadvertent unfolding of the held temple and the wearer's loss of the eyeglasses. The eyeglass holder has a connector that enables it to be attached, in a pendulous manner, to the wearer's neck, clothing, or other object. The eyeglass holder has an oblong body with a double convex shape and a longitudinal inner channel with two oblong openings on the same face of the body. A temple of a pair of eyeglasses, inserted through the upper opening, comes to rest upon a waist extending between the openings. The eyeglasses rest on the waist and a foot of the body provides a second contact point with the temple that maintains it in a closed position.

ADJUSTABLE EYEWEAR RESTRAINTS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
An adjustable eyewear restraint comprises a first strap having a first adjustment end and a first eyewear coupling end, and a second strap having a second adjustment end and a second eyewear coupling end. The straps are slidably and frictionally engageable to one another to allow adjustment of a length of the restraint by moving adjustment ends of the straps relative to each other. The straps can be slidably interwoven to each other about opening(s) of respective adjustment ends. The opening(s) slidably receive an opposing strap. A strap has a loop, coupleable to eyewear, that comprises first and second edges attached together to form an attachment portion substantially in-line with the first edge. A frictional element is frictionally and slidably coupleable to an earpiece to retain the loop and allow adjustment of a length of an eyewear retainer. Associated systems and methods are provided.
Retractable eyewear retention device
An eyewear retention device is disclosed that includes a length of resilient braided or monofilament line, terminating at each end in a tapered, rubberized retention tubing. One or more retractable spring loaded mechanisms have a locking mechanism for easy extraction and retraction back and forth by simply pulling on said line. The combination of the resilient line and the mechanisms produces a tensioned arc such that in addition to retaining eyeglasses around wearers head when in use when not in use with a simple pull on said line, the retention device forms a suspended arc over the wear's upper torso such that the device does not contact the wear's upper torso or their vestment when donned over a wear's eyes.
Spectacle lens
In a spectacle lens including a permanent mark arranged on a concave surface, a layout mark indicating a predetermined reference position on a convex surface is arranged on the convex surface.
Eyeglass Retainer with Extension
An eyeglass retainer system for use with eyeglasses worn by a user and having a frame front includes a pair of eyeglass temples. Each temple has a first end for securing the temple to frame front and defines a first channel passing therethrough that terminates in a first stopping mechanism. Extendable coupling units are slidably disposed in the first channels and terminate in a first stopper that is configured to engage the first stopping mechanism so as to prevent it from exiting the first channel completely. Two magnetic connectors are each affixed to a different one of the extendable coupling units and have opposite polarities so as to attract each other when placed against to each other. The coupling units are slid out of the first channel so that the two magnetic connectors can be coupled to each other behind the user's head so as to retain the eyeglasses.
Prosthetic lenses and methods of making the same
An optical device comprising a lens configured to be disposed in an eye. The lens is configured to contact a sclera of the eye and have a clearance above a cornea of the eye when disposed in the eye. The lens comprises a back surface that comprises at least one non-symmetrical feature that is configured to engage a corresponding feature on the eye. The lens is configured to be rotationally stable in use based on the at least one non-symmetrical feature on the back surface of the lens.
EYEWEAR WITH ADJUSTABLE STRAP
Eyewear in the form of a pair of lenses and a pair of frame halves, each frame half supporting a lens. The frame halves are releasably connected to one another at the bridge between the lenses at their inner ends and the frame halves have frame half outer ends on opposite sides of the lenses from the bridge. The eyewear also includes first and second temples having temple first ends and temple second ends, the temple first ends being pivotally connected to the frame halves outer ends, each temple including a channel. The eyewear also includes a flexible strap having first and second flexible strap ends, to which are affixed first and second sliders, each slider affixed to one end of the flexible strap at the first and second flexible strap ends. The first slider is located within the channel of the first temple and sized to be slidably positioned along the channel of the first temple and the second slider is located within the channel of the second temple and sized to be adjustably positioned along the channel of the second temple, the sliders having protrusions and the channels having indents for receiving the protrusions, such that movement of the sliders enables a user to selectively change the length of the flexible strap extending between the second ends of the first and second temples.
SPECTACLES DEVICE THAT CAN BE REVERSIBLY TRANSFORMED INTO A BRACELET
A spectacles device, that can be reversibly transformed into a bracelet, includes a nose bridge, two spectacles lenses and two temple systems. Each temple system includes an inner temple and an outer temple, the inner temple being made of a shape memory material with an initial curved shape and the outer temple being made of at least one material capable of elastic deformation. The outer temple includes a first cavity, extending longitudinally, capable of allowing the inner temple to slide inside the outer temple. The outer temple also includes a second cavity capable of receiving the nose bridge and the spectacles lenses. In addition, each of the spectacle lenses is respectively attached to one end of the inner temples by a first connecting element. The nose bridge is attached to each inner temple by at least one second connecting element.
