Loupe System
A head strap (120) for medical loupe glasses is provided, comprising two tubes (130, 132) of flexible wipe-clean material and a magnet (134, 136) located on each tube, the magnets (134, 136) being connectable by magnetic forces to effect securement.
Open view, multi-modal, calibrated digital loupe with depth sensing
A digital loupe system is provided which can include a number of features. In one embodiment, the digital loupe system can include a stereo camera pair and a distance sensor. The system can further include a processor configured to perform a transformation to image signals from the stereo camera pair based on a distance measurement from the distance sensor and from camera calibration information. In some examples, the system can use the depth information and the calibration information to correct for parallax between the cameras to provide a multi-channel image. Ergonomic head mounting systems are also provided. In some implementations, the head mounting systems can be configurable to support the weight of a digital loupe system, including placing one or two oculars in a line of sight with an eye of a user, while improving overall ergonomics, including peripheral vision, comfort, stability, and adjustability. Methods of use are also provided.
Liquid crystal lens with enhanced electrical drive
An optical device includes an electro-optical layer and conductive electrodes disposed over opposing first and second side of the electro-optical layer. Control circuitry is configured to apply at least first control voltage waveforms and second control voltage waveforms between the conductive electrodes so as to generate respective first and second phase modulation profiles in the electro-optical layer, which cause rays of optical radiation that are incident on the device to converge or diverge with respective first and second focal powers, and to change from the first focal power to the second focal power by concurrently applying overshoot control voltages to each of a plurality of the conductive electrodes for different, respective transition periods, followed by application of the second control voltage waveforms.
SUNGLASSES FOR USE IN WATER ACTIVITIES
The present patent of invention is described as sunglasses for use in water activities which, according to its characteristics, provides sunglasses for use in water activities (1) in a specific, stand-alone structure of the universal type and based on a structuring frame (2), two sealing/protective eye cups (3) for water environments, two lenses (4) for solar environments (glare/bright light), two straps (5) to secure the glasses in place on the head, two pins (6) to hold the straps to the frame and a strap adjuster (7) integrated into a single block to attach/fix the glasses around the eyes and the head, in order to provide complete optimization of the sunglasses for use in water activities (1) in combined or stand-alone applications for protection, viewing and correction in solar and water environments, including sports practices, without any types of adjustments to the assembly.
Sensory-friendly eyewear holder
Sensory-friendly eyewear holders that can be incorporated into a garment, and garments comprising such sensory-friendly eyewear holders are provided herein. The sensory-friendly eyewear holder, or garment comprising the sensory-friendly eyewear holder, eliminates body contact with the eyewear holder to provide sensory relief to eyewear wearers when storing the eyewear for those who have sensory issues.
EYEWEAR STRAP CONNECTOR
Apparatus for connecting first and second eyewear ends. The apparatus may include a strap including a first strap end and a second strap end. The apparatus may also include a first connector at the first strap end. The apparatus may also include a second connector at the second strap end. The first and second connectors may include a first and second base, respectively, a first and second head, respectively, and a first shaft extending between the first base and the first head and a second shaft extending between the second base and the second head, respectively. The apparatus may also include a first fastener and a second fastener that may include a first attachment end and a second attachment end, respectively, and a first connection end and a second connection end, respectively.
Automated eyewear device sharing system
Systems, devices, media, and methods are described for capturing a series of raw images by portable electronic devices, such as wearable devices including eyewear, and automating the process of processing such raw images by a client mobile device, such as a smart phone, such automation including the process of uploading to a network and directing to a target audience. In some implementations, a user selects profile settings on the client device before capturing images on the companion device, so that when the companion device has captured the images, the system follows the profile settings upon automatically processing the images captured by the companion device.
Eyeglasses clip for securing eyeglasses to a cap in a stowed configuration
An eyewear clipping device to fasten the eyewear to the sides of a cap that comprises a first vertical member forming an exterior slot for receiving an earpiece of an eyewear with a first top end and a first bottom end. A second vertical member forms an interior three-sectioned clip with a second top end and a bottom end comprising a central ascending vertical section that forks at the top second end to form two retention wings that extend back downward toward the bottom end that insert behind a hat band of a cap and together with the central ascending vertical section, which is positioned in front of the hat band, create an opposed gripping force on the hat band. The first bottom end and the second bottom end connect together using a U-shaped curve or straight bridge.
Cover
A cover is disclosed. An airtight and watertight covering defines a space with at least one opening configured to circumferentially accommodate a portion of a body of a wearer and includes a flex layer including a plurality of resiliently elastic, malleable and deformable strands. A first gasket includes a malleable and resiliently deformable elastomer communicatively provided within an inner surface of the airtight and watertight covering within the space. The first gasket is configured to form an airtight and watertight seal against the portion of the body. The flex layer is deformable to allow the flex layer to transmute the magnitude of a force applied to the flex layer and to mitigate and to redirect the force respectively received against and away from the first gasket which thereby maintains the airtight and watertight seal against the portion of the body.
EYEGLASSES WITH SEPARABLE FRAME MEMBERS
An eyeglass frame having a pair of magnetically connected lens holding members are releasably connected at a bridge portion of each lens holding member. The bridge portions butt face to face against one another along a first common vertical plane when connected. Extending transversely from one bridge portion and through the common plane is a bolt having an irregular cross section. The bolt includes a magnet affixed to its end. The bolt is received in a socket formed in the other bridge portion. A mating magnet is affixed to the internal end of the socket. Butting faces of the magnets at a second common plane secure the lens holding members in position
