Modular heads-up display system

A modular electronic communication system is disclosed with interchangeable components attachable on eyewear. A plurality of pre-existing eyewear models can each be retrofitted by attachment of one or more of such interchangeable components to that eyewear. Such components can be configured for custom attachment with a particular eyewear or such components can be configured for universal attachment with one or more different eyewear models. The communication system can be configured to produce an adjustable heads-up display for the wearer of the eyewear. The electronic communication system can comprise a plurality of interchangeable, electronically interconnected components, such as a first optical module, a first base module, a base link, a second base module, and/or a second optical module. In some embodiments, one or more or all of the components of the electronic communication system are integrally and permanently attached to an eyewear and are not interchangeable or modular.

A glasses structure comprises a main body and a sub-frame assembled at the rear of a lens of the main body. The inner surface of a frame body of the sub-frame is attached with a pad, which pad is formed with an upper contact portion and a central contact portion corresponding to the upper edge and the central shape of the frame body. Two nose pieces are formed at the both sides of the central contact portion of the pad, and the upper contact portion of the pad are respectively contacted with the user's nose and forehead to avoid pain when the user wears the glasses. Furthermore, the colored and patterned frame body of the sub-frame is shown from the transparent lens of the main body, whereby the glasses with suitable color and pattern being chosen to dress with the user's clothes and style, increasing the user's fashion and beauty.

Assembled structure of main spectacle frame and assistant lens frame

The invention relates to an assembled structure of a main spectacle frame and an assistant lens frame. Sliding slots having fixing parts are disposed on inner sides of the lens frame of the main spectacle frame. Through holes are disposed in front of the lens frame and positioned to correspond to the sliding slots. The assistant lens frame is disposed on the front side of the lens frame of the main spectacle frame. Positioning bumps are protrudingly disposed on inner sides of the assistant lens frame to correspond to the through holes on two sides of the lens frame of the main spectacle frame. Tip holes are disposed on lateral sides of the positioning bumps to be inserted by tip rods for positioning correspondingly.

Virtual image display with curved light path

A display includes a projector configured to provide light of a virtual image, a waveguide into which the light of the virtual image is injected at an injection angle by the projector, and a combiner disposed along the waveguide and configured to redirect the light of the virtual image. The waveguide is configured to emit the light at a point established by the injection angle. The combiner is further configured to allow ambient light from beyond the waveguide to pass through the combiner. The waveguide constrains the light of the virtual image through total internal reflection along a curved path for the light between the projector and the combiner.
