Determination of at least one optical parameter of a spectacle lens
A method, a device, and a computer program for determining at least one optical parameter of a spectacle lens, and a method for manufacturing the spectacle lens using the at least one optical parameter are disclosed. The optical parameter denotes a value for a property of the spectacle lens which is adjusted during manufacture of the spectacle lens to achieve an intended correction of ametropia of at least one eye of a user of the spectacle lens. The method includes: a) capturing at least one image of a user wearing the spectacle lens; and b) determining at least one optical parameter of the spectacle lens by image processing the at least one image, wherein the at least one image contains an eye portion including at least one eye and/or a face portion adjacent to at least one eye of a user of the spectacle lens.
Spacer device for frames of spectacles
A spacer device for spectacles maintains the pair of arms of the frame spaced apart from each other with respect to the front of the frame when they are folded in a closing manner. The device includes a spacer member having a thickness defined between a pair of opposing surfaces, the member extending in a main direction, between a pair of opposing faces, which contact with the front mount of the frame and the arm of the pair of arms which is folded last onto the mount, respectively. A channel extends transversely to the main direction and is provided in a position between the faces, the channel delimited by a pair of walls which face each other in a mutually spaced apart relationship and are connected at an end thereof to a base surface of the channel.

Method for covering a primary element for optical spectacles with primary members moulded from cork particles
A method for purifying powdered silicon carbide is in the form of a starting material to form a silicon carbide having a purity of at least 99.9%. This method has the following method steps: providing a starting material having a grain size of less than 100 μm and a silicon carbide content with at least 98% purity; and heating the starting material in a vacuum or oxygen-free atmosphere to a temperature above 1700° C. over a period of at least 8 minutes.
Method for designing spectacle lenses, lenses and devices for designing the same
A method for designing, by means of a computer, at least one surface of a lens for a user. The method includes the steps of (i) obtaining displacement information on an amount of displacement between a user specific fitting position and a reference position, the reference position representing a primary fitting point of a lens surface on a reference line of sight of an eye of the user, and the user specific fitting position representing a user specific fitting point of the lens surface determined on the basis of the user; and (ii) causing calculating a design of the at least one surface of the lens on the basis of said displacement information.
Device and method for mounting leap block
A device for mounting a leap block capable of automatically adjusting the mounting direction of the leap block comprises a block stand fixedly mounted to one end of a blocking device frame and configured to support a leap block so that the leap block is rotatable in a horizontal direction; the leap block in which a support rotatably supported by the block stand is formed in the center, and a first magnetic body is mounted in one direction; and a leap block mounting unit to which a second magnetic body that couples with the first magnetic body by magnetic force is mounted in one direction, and which rotates in the horizontal direction and couples with the leap block in a fixed direction.
Spectacle lens producing method, spectacle lens producing system, and spectacle lens
The present invention is a method for producing a spectacle lens from a lens material, and includes: a marking step (step S10) of marking an identification mark for identifying the spectacle lens, and a processing information mark which is used to process a lens blank and includes a tray identification 2D code, a tray identification code, a shape line and a position mark by forming a hole or a groove in a convex surface of the lens material by laser; and a concave surface machining processing step (step S13) of reading the processing information mark, and machining a concave surface of the lens blank based on the read processing information mark.
Method of designing and placing a lens within a spectacles frame
Described herein are methods and systems for customizing and personalizing eyewear. The methods and system consider optimal parameters for each wearer's personal visual situation and configures frames around them.
Blocker having light transmission and reflection device
The blocker described comprises: a lens illumination light source; a light transmission and reflection device to reflect/transmit the light; an image sensor to detect light reflected by the light transmission and reflection device and thereby obtain an lens image; a lens meter to detect the light that has passed through the light transmission and reflection device to thereby measure lens characteristics; and a blocking member to attach a leap block to the lens. The light transmission and reflection device comprises: a first reflection plate having a central hole; a first rotating cylinder to be coupled to and to rotate the first reflection plate; a second rotating cylinder located inside and to rotate the first rotating cylinder; a second reflection plate, adjusted by the second rotating cylinder and configured to open or block the central hole in the first reflection plate; and driving means configured to drive the second rotating cylinder.
Optician's tool and method for removing or inserting lenses
A tool (10) for assisting an optician in removing lenses (42) from or inserting lenses into eyeglass frames (44) includes an elongated block of substantially rigid material (12) having a forward working end (14) and a rearward free end (16) opposite the working end, the portion between the free end and the working end functioning as a handle to be grasped by a person's hand. A first recess (24) is formed in the bottom surface (22) of the block along with a first curved surface (26) and a first hook (28). The first curved surface includes a rearward facing pointed edge (27). Similarly, a second recess (36) is formed in the top surface (20) of the block along with a second curved surface (38) and a second hook (40). The hooks (28, 40) are adapted to rest against the edge (46) of the frame (44) as the pointed edge (27) or the second curved surface (38) presses the lens (42) out of or into the frame (44) as the free end (16) of the tool is rotated.
