Method and device for measuring data for fitting an ophthalmic lens in a frame for a given individual
Disclosed is a method for measuring data for fitting an ophthalmic lens in a frame for a individual, including the following steps: a) placing the individual in a natural posture; b) displaying a visual target with adjustable position in the field of view of the individual; c) having the individual equipped with the frame adjust the position of the visual target in order to place it straight ahead from him; d) determining the intersection, with a surface representative of the lens once placed in the frame, of the line of sight of the individual looking at the visual target with its adjusted position and determining the data based on the intersection determined.
A METHOD FOR ORDERING AN OPTICAL EQUIPMENT
A method, implemented by computer means, for ordering an optical equipment comprising at least a spectacle frame suitable for a wearer, the method comprising: a wearer data providing step during which wearer data relative to a wearer parameter are provided, a optical equipment data providing step during which optical equipment data relative to at least the spectacle frame of an optical equipment selected by the wearer are provided, a mounting data determining step during which mounting data representative of the spectacle frame being mounted on the wearer's head are determined by taking into account at least said wearer's data and said optical equipment data, a display step during which the mounting data are displayed in a visually understandable mode.
Computerized testing and determination of a visual field of a patient
The present disclosure relates generally to systems and method for testing and determining corrective lens prescription for a patient. In an example embodiment, a system includes a hand-portable first electronic device, a second electronic device with a computerized screen, and a server to conduct a vision test for a person. The vision test includes determining, an axis prescription, a cylinder prescription, and a sphere prescription for each eye of the person. A corrective lens prescription is provided for the person based, at least in part, on the determined axis, cylinder, and sphere prescription for each eye of the person.
Spectacle frame comprising electrical conductors and having a controlled foldability, method of manufacturing
A spectacle frame including a first part, at least a second part, a joining part joining the second part to the first part allowing to fold and unfold the second part relative to the first part so that the second part be movable between respective closed position and open position, at least an electrical wiring arranged through the joining part to allow an electrical connectivity between the first part and the second part, wherein the joining part is elastically deformable with curvature radius values higher than a predefined minimum curvature radius value.
Cleaning device for a pair of spectacles having bar-shaped cleaning elements
A cleaning device for a pair of spectacles, comprising a housing defining a cleaning space, a mounting part for holding the pair of spectacles inside said space, sets of opposing cleaning elements for cleaning opposing faces of glasses of the pair of spectacles, and a drive unit for moving the pair of spectacles and the cleaning elements relative to each other during a cleaning operation. The sets of opposing cleaning elements are positionable relative to each other between an inactive position, that is configured to have at least one of the sets of the cleaning elements lie spaced from at least one of the opposing faces of the respective glasses, and a cleaning position, that is configured to have the sets of opposing cleaning elements lie against both opposing faces of the respective glasses. Each of the cleaning elements is bar-shaped, wherein, in the cleaning position, longitudinal axis of the bar-shaped cleaning elements extend in one or more directions that are substantially parallel to the opposing faces of the glasses, and wherein the drive unit is configured to translate the pair of spectacles and the bar-shaped cleaning elements relative to each other substantially parallel to the opposing faces of the glasses while rubbing or wiping them clean.
System and method for customization of an eyewear
A system and method for customization of an eyewear is disclosed. The system includes a face scanning subsystem configured to scan a face of a user to capture one or more predefined details, an eyewear display subsystem configured to display one or more collections of the one or more components, an eyewear customization subsystem configured to receive a selection input representative of one or more components selected from the one or more collections, a first level eyewear customization subsystem configured to receive one or more customization input representative of one or more customization parameters, an eyewear assembling subsystem configured to assemble the eyewear associated with the user, a testing subsystem configured to test in real time, one or more customized eyewear, a second level eyewear frame eyewear customization subsystem configured to customize the one or more customization parameters in real time.
Automatic Establishment Of Parameters Necessary For Constructing Spectacles
The invention relates to a method for automatically establishing parameters in order to centre and/or personalise corrective lenses for spectacles, comprising the following steps: —taking images of the frame from different viewing angles, —defining an initial model of the frame in a reference system based on a set of predefined initial parameters, projecting a region of interests in the images, —comparing the projections and evaluating a similarity between said projections, —modifying at least one of the parameters of the model and reiterating the steps until a maximum level of similarity between the projections is obtained, —deducing the at least one of the parameters from the model associated with the projections which have the maximum level of similarity.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOTE MEASUREMENT OF THE EYES AND DELIVERING OF SUNGLASSES AND EYEGLASSES
The present disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for automated measured correction of the eyes and provision of sunglasses and eyeglasses for individuals, including individuals with a visual acuity of 20/20 or better. Methods, devices and systems for remote measurement of refraction by an examiner away from the measurement system are also disclosed.
