An optical system is provided and includes a light-sensing element, a reflecting unit and a first driving assembly. The reflecting unit includes a reflecting surface, configured to receive an incident light and to reflect a reflecting light. The reflecting light travels into the light-sensing element. The first driving assembly is configured to control the reflecting unit to move along a first axis direction from a first position to a second position, so as to adjust a focus position of the reflecting light on the light-sensing element, wherein the reflecting surface in the first position is parallel to the reflecting surface in the second position, and a distance between a center of the reflecting unit in the first position and the center of the reflecting unit in the second position is not zero.

Lens drive device, camera module, and camera mount device

A lens drive device comprises: a fixing part disposed away from the movable part; a cover for covering the movable part in the direction of an optical axis; and suspension wires for supporting the movable part relative to the fixing part, one ends of the suspension wires being secured to the fixing part and the other ends being secured to the movable part. The movable part is configured so as to be provided with: a damper material disposed so as to come in contact with the suspension wires; a stopper protrusion provided near a portion of the light-receiving-side surface where the other ends of the suspension wires are secured, the tip end of the stopper protrusion facing the inner surface of the cover in the direction of the optical axis; and a flow-stopper part stopping a flow of the damper flowing.

Position sensor architecture for cameras

A camera system may include circuitry for measuring the positions of an optics assembly (e.g., one or more lenses) and/or an image sensor of the camera system. The circuitry may include analog circuits comprising a first and a second position sensors to produce a first and a second sensor signals based on a first magnetic field and a second magnetic field respectively. The magnetic fields may have the same or different polarities detectable by the position sensors. The position sensors may be coupled in parallel in the same or reverse directions to produce a combined sensor output. The circuitry may determine position information for the optics assembly and/or the image sensor based on the combined sensor output. The camera system may use the position information as a feedback signal to control the position of the optics assembly (e.g., for autofocus) and/or the position of the image sensor (e.g., for optical image stabilization (OIS)).
