Cooktop appliance and griddle assembly
A cooktop appliance and griddle assembly are generally provided herein. The cooktop appliance may include a top panel, a heating element attached to the top panel, an upper plate, and a lower plate. The upper plate may be disposed above the top panel along a vertical direction. An upper plate may have a top cooking surface and a bottom heating surface. The top cooking surface may extend perpendicular to the vertical direction to receive a cooking item thereon. The bottom heating surface may be positioned beneath the upper plate and face the top panel to receive a thermal output from the heating element. The lower plate may extend perpendicular to the vertical direction beneath a portion of the upper plate and above the top panel. A radiation channel may be defined between the lower plate and the bottom heating surface along the vertical direction.
Grill having a retractable wall
A charcoal grill with a housing capable of a chimney configuration to quickly light heating elements and a grilling configuration in which one of its walls can be retracted downwards and a rock grate placed on its inner surface to extend the possible cooking surface a cooking grid can be placed over.
AUTOMATIC BREAD MAKER
The automatic bread maker has case 23 for accommodating bread-making material, heater for heating case, and temperature detector for detecting the temperature of case. The automatic bread maker further has pulverizing and mixing section and controller. Pulverizing/mixing section is disposed on bottom of case. While rotating, it pulverizes and mixes the material in case. Controller controls heater and pulverizing and mixing section according to the temperature of case. Controller governs a pulverizing step for producing rice paste from the material and a mixing step for mixing the rice paste after the pulverizing step. In the pulverizing step, pulverizing and mixing section rotates in a rotation speed range the same as that in the mixing step. The structure suppresses friction heat produced in pulverizing rice grains. This suppresses gelatinization of rice starch, providing rice paste with stable viscosity.
Method and apparatus for multi-fuel grill
A Method and Apparatus for Multi-Fuel Grill have been disclosed. In one version an attached fire box holds fuel.

Glass retainer bracket for appliance door
A bracket for retaining glass used to cover the window of a door of an oven appliance and an oven appliance with such brackets. The bracket supports the glass in position at the window. Embodiments of the bracket may provide features including use on either side of the oven door, use of a shorter length of glass, and other features that can facilitate manufacture.
Gas oven
A gas oven having a gas supplying passage to supply gas to a burner is provided. The gas oven includes an ON/OFF valve to open/close the gas supplying passage, and a flow rate modulating valve connected to the ON/OFF valve in series so as to change the cross-sectional area of a passage, thereby supplying a proper amount of gas to a cooking cavity in response to the change of a cooking area. When a cooking cavity is divided into individual cooking cavities while a divider is mounted, the flow rate modulating valve is open/closed at a smaller opening degree than the maximum operating degree, and thus may be able to prevent a cooking substance from being carbonized in the individual cooking cavities.

APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A FOOD ITEM
An apparatus for producing a food item contains a cultivation component for cultivating and preparing an edible cultivated ingredient, and a device for preparing an edible external ingredient, which is not cultivated in the apparatus. The apparatus also has processing devices, which are intended to produce a food item from at least one cultivated ingredient and at least one external ingredient. The apparatus further has a control unit, which is intended to determine a recipe for producing a first food item. The recipe indicates ingredients and process steps for producing the first food item. The control unit is also intended to cause the processing devices to produce the first food item in accordance with the recipe.
Cover for food items placed on a cooking surface
A cover positionable over a food item placed atop a cooking surface to provide downward pressure on the food item to facilitate achieving flush contact with the undersurface of the food item on the cooking surface below is disclosed. In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a sheet of chainmail is secured to a frame which is hingedly supported above a heatable cooking surface. A support which allows the cover of the present disclosure to be easily retrofit to an existing cooking device such as a griddle may be utilized to hingedly support the frame relative to the cooking device.
