The system and method of the present disclosure are generally designed to obtain images from a vantage point located at a first location and subsequently transmit and display the same to an individual located at a second location. To this end, the system and method of the present disclosure may comprise a camera, a mounting device, and a display operably connected to the camera. The mounting device may be used to attach the camera in an elevated position on a boat to enable the camera to capture video images of the body of water surrounding the boat. To reduce glare on the body of water, the camera may have a polarized filter. Video images captured by the camera are transmitted to the display for display thereon in real time.
