Lens control apparatus, lens control method, image capturing apparatus, information processing apparatus, information processing method, image capturing system, and computer readable storage medium
A lens control apparatus includes an operation input unit, a communication unit, and a control unit. The operation input unit is configured to accept a user operation. The communication unit is configured to perform communication with an external apparatus. The control unit is configured to perform driving control of a zoom lens in response to a zoom operation accepted by the operation input unit or a zoom control signal received by the communication unit. The control unit is also configured to selectively set a zoom position changing speed for driving control performed in response to the zoom operation and a zoom position changing speed for driving control performed in response to the zoom control signal, the zoom position changing speeds being different from each other.
IMAGE STABILIZATION CONTROL DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image stabilization control device capable of correcting a parallel blur or the like with high accuracy is provided.
A image stabilization control device includes: a rotation radius calculation unit configured to calculate a rotation radius of an angle blur based on outputs of an angle blur signal acquired from an angle blur detection unit and a parallel blur signal acquired from a parallel blur detection unit; a rotation radius prediction unit configured to predict a change in the rotation radius based on an output of the rotation radius calculation unit and output a rotation radius prediction signal; and a blur correction control unit configured to control correction of the parallel blur based on the rotation radius prediction signal of the rotation radius prediction unit and the angle blur signal acquired from the angle blur detection unit.
Targeted dish cleaner
A system and method for cleaning a dish, comprising: illuminating said dish with a light source; capturing an image of said dish with a camera; inspecting said image to determine if said dish is clean; and estimating locations of dirty regions on said dish; spraying a fluid with a first nozzle on said dish with a predetermined spray distribution, wherein said first nozzle can reorient or relocate to spray said fluid on any region of said dish visible in said image; and spraying a fluid with a second nozzle on said dish with a spray distribution having a smaller coverage than that of said first nozzle, wherein said second nozzle is relocated or reoriented such that the fluid reaches said dirty regions at said locations on said dish; whereby dirty regions of said dish are targeted for a fast and efficient cleaning of said dish.

Image pickup apparatus with vibration device
A space-saving image pickup apparatus capable of appropriately vibrating the image pickup apparatus locally or as a whole using one vibration device is provided. The image pickup apparatus comprising an operation member, a vibration device configured to generate a vibration, a vibration transmission member fixed to the vibration device, and a controller configured to drive the vibration device in response to an operation of the operation member. Part of the vibration transmission member comes into contact with part of the operation member, and the operation member vibrates due to a vibration transmitted from the vibration device via the vibration transmission member.
Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and image pickup system for displaying information associated with an image
The display of information associated with a particular position of a picked-up image is enabled. Image data is transmitted to external equipment. Instruction information regarding the image data is received from the external equipment. A display-use image reflecting the instruction information is generated on the basis of the instruction information. For example, the display-use image is generated by displaying details of the instruction information on an image corresponding to the image data. As another example, position information is added to the instruction information. The display-use image is then generated by displaying the details of the instruction information in an image position indicated by the position information.
LENS WATER DISPERSION
Systems and methods are disclosed for lens water dispersion. For example, an image capture device may include a lens mounted on a body of the image capture device; an image sensor mounted within the body, behind the lens and configured to detect images based on light incident on the image sensor through the lens; and a dispersion structure around a perimeter of the lens on an external surface of the body, wherein the dispersion structure includes gaps sized to cause capillary action to move water away from the lens, from a first edge of the dispersion structure to a second edge of the dispersion structure.
Optical redirection adapter
An optical redirection adapter for an electronic device having a camera includes a housing. An optical element is attached to the housing and positioned such that, when the adapter is attached the electronic device, the optical element is positioned in the camera's field of view. The optical element reflects light in the camera's field of view from a redirection angle that is offset from the camera's field of view. The optical redirection adapter facilitates ergonomically sound use of the camera.
