HEARING AID WITH VOICE RECOGNITION
A system for selectively amplifying audio signals may include a microphone configured to capture sounds from an environment of a user. The system may also include a processor programmed to: receive audio signals representative of the sounds captured by the microphone; cause selective conditioning of at least one audio signal received by the microphone from a region associated with the recognized individual; and cause transmission of the at least one conditioned audio signal to a hearing interface device configured to provide sound to an ear of the user.
Identifying information and associated individuals
A hearing aid system for individual identification of a hearing aid system may include a wearable camera, a microphone, and at least one processor. The processor may be programmed to receive a plurality of images captured by the wearable camera; receive audio signals representative of sounds captured by the microphone; and identify a first audio signal, from among the received audio signals, representative of a voice of a first individual. The processor may transcribe and store, in a memory, text corresponding to speech associated with the voice of the first individual and determine whether the first individual is a recognized individual. If the first individual is a recognized individual, the processor may associate an identifier of the first recognized individual with the stored text corresponding to the speech associated with the voice of the first individual.

Speaker module and projection device
A speaker module includes a base, a speaker and a wire. The base has a bottom and a first wire fixing portion. The speaker is disposed in the base and has a second wire fixing portion. The wire is fixed to the first wire fixing portion and the second wire fixing portion to suspend the speaker in the base, and the speaker is separated from the bottom with a distance. A projection device having the speaker module is further provided.
Beamforming for wind noise optimized microphone placements
An image capture device with beamforming for wind noise optimized microphone placements is described. The image capture device includes a front facing microphone configured to capture an audio signal. The front facing microphone co-located with at least one optical component. The image capture device further includes at least one non-front facing microphone configured to capture an audio signal. The image capture device further includes a processor configured to generate a forward facing beam using the audio signal captured by the front facing microphone and the audio signal captured by the at least one non-front facing microphone, generate an omni beam using the audio signal captured by the at least one non-front facing microphone, and output an audio signal based on the forward facing beam and the omni beam.
Camera Assembly with Concave-Shaped Front Face
The various implementations described herein include a video camera assembly that includes: (1) a housing; (2) an image sensor positioned within the housing and having a field of view corresponding to a scene in the smart home environment; and (3) a concave-shaped front face positioned in front of the image sensor such that light from the scene passes through the front face prior to entering the image sensor; where the front face includes: (a) an inner section corresponding to the image sensor; and (b) an outer section between the housing and the inner section, the outer section having a concave shape that extends from an outer periphery of the outer section to an inner periphery of the outer section; and where the concave shape extends around an entirety of the outer periphery.
