Automatic calibration process for coffee grinder-doser apparatuses with weighing device and electronic grinder-doser apparatus
Automatic calibration process for electronic grinder-doser apparatuses of coffee in beans provided with an electronic weighing device directly connected to the logic control unit of the apparatus, wherein the grinding times necessary for obtaining the requested dose weight in grams of ground coffee are pre-set, the process being aimed at periodically checking the quantity of coffee actually ground, re-calculating and re-setting the grinding times in the logic unit. The process particularly comprises a first phase (Phase A) of start, a second phase (Phase B) of sampling by multiple short and long detections, a third phase (Phase C) of processing by compensation calculation and a fourth phase (Phase D) of self-adjustment, the second, third and fourth phases (Phases B-D) being totally automatic, that is to say, being sequentially carried out by the electronic grinder-doser apparatus as automatic procedures by the logic control unit.

Coffee grinder
A coffee grinder has a housing that includes a ring burr, a shaft extending through the ring burr, a frustoconical burr, and an interlocking plug. An internal bore of the frustoconical burr has an upper cylindrical surface adjacent the top end, an interlocking portion adjacent the bottom edge, and a tapered side surface. The interlocking plug is shaped to extend through the internal bore of the frustoconical burr, and includes an upper cylindrical portion that fits through the upper cylindrical surface, and a lower portion that includes a sidewall surface which is also tapered such that the sidewall surface interlocks with the side surface of the frustoconical burr.
Grinder
A grinder comprises: a receiving container, formed with an accommodation space and an installation space, and the bottom end thereof being extended with a connection ring have a feeding port, and a hollow grinding seat and a fasten ring are respectively and detachably disposed in the feeding port and the connection ring; an electric driving device, detachably disposed in the installation space; and a base, detachably disposed at the bottom end of the receiving container and including a hollow grinding chamber having the interior disposed with a support member with a pivotal shaft, a passive rod is sleeved and linked with a conical grinding disk, the top end and the bottom end of the passive rod are respectively sleeved with the output shaft and the pivotal shaft, thereby allowing the grinding disk to protrude into the grinding seat and forming a gap between the above two.

Apparatus, systems, and methods for grinding a material
An apparatus for containing a material, such as coffee beans, that may be used with a grinding apparatus. The apparatus may have a directing component to guide a controlled dose of material toward the grinding apparatus. In one embodiment, the apparatus has a container with a base portion that engages a grinding apparatus. The container, when engaged with the grinding apparatus, can direct coffee beans toward the grinding apparatus and has a door that releases a controlled dose of beans. The grinding apparatus may have a movable tongue to cause excess grounds caught on interior components of the grinding apparatus to exit the grinding apparatus. The apparatus, systems, and methods reduce labor associated with grinding the material and allow a user, such as a barista, to more efficiently prepare brewed beverages, such as single-cup portions of coffee.
Herb grinding device
An herb grinding device is disclosed that includes a first section and a second section. The first section includes a first cavity, a top surface, an outer wall surrounding the first cavity, and a plurality of teeth extending from the top surface. The second section is rotatably coupled to the first section and includes a second section floor, a plurality of holes in the second section floor, a second cavity facing the first cavity, a plurality of teeth extending from the second section floor, and an annular flange positioned within the first cavity and interfacing an outer wall of the first section. The herb grinding device may also include a third section that is removably coupled to the second section opposite the first section and includes a channel extending through the third section, and a fourth section that is removably coupled to the third section and includes a collection cavity.
Method of operating a grinder
A method of operating a grinder includes acts of: starting a first grinding cycle of a given duration; feeding the grinder with a given amount of material to be ground and grinding the material by rotating a rotary grinding member of the grinder for a period of active grinding; idly rotating the rotary grinding member for a period of idle rotation following the period of active grinding, for removing residual ground material from the grinder; estimating when the given amount of material has been ground, based on an operating parameter of the grinder; and adapting the given duration for a subsequent grinding cycle based on an estimated duration of the period of active grinding of the first grinding cycle.
