Food processor driven by an electric motor
A food processor driven by en electric motor includes a stirrer vessel and a stirring mechanism in the stirrer vessel, an optional heater, and also a volatile or non-volatile memory in which useful date for using the food processor can be stored. The food processor is provided with a loudspeaker and a data file is used for producing sound by the loudspeaker, for example for outputting speech, music or sounds.
RICE WRAPPER AND WRAPPED RICE
Providing a rice wrapper which can be accurately and easily formed into a deformed conical shape having a constant apex angle is disclosed. The solution provides a rice wrapper having a rectangular shape, which used, is formed into a deformed conical shape having an apex formed by an intermediate part of one long side, the deformed conical shape is formed by: rolling a part forming one corner part located between one short side and the one long side as an inside rolled part in such a way that the one corner part is placed at an intermediate part of the opposite other long side; rolling a part on the other short side over the inside rolled part as an outside rolled part; and fixing the outside rolled part onto the inside rolled part. The rice wrapper has an outer film provided with a first mark for positioning the part on the other short side which is rolled as the outside rolled part when the deformed conical shape is formed.
Food processing apparatus and method
Food processing apparatuses having a drive unit which has more than one mode of operation, works with more than one food processing container, and/or may be operated in more than orientation are disclosed. The drive unit may be operated in first and second modes of operation. In some embodiments, the drive unit may be actuated in a different manner in the second mode of operation as compared to the first mode of operation. In some embodiments, the orientation of the drive unit in the second mode of operation is vertically flipped upside-down as compared to the orientation of the drive unit in the first mode of operation.
Intelligent blending system
A blending system includes a blender base and a container. The blender base includes a housing that houses a motor. The container is attachable to the blender base. The blending system includes a user device that communicates with the blender base. The user device may communicate with a remote computing device. The user device generates instructions and recipes for the blender base.
Wireless blending device and system
A blending device includes a motor, a motor controller, and a wireless controller configured to receive a wireless signal. The motor controller may be configured to alter the operations of the motor based the wireless signal. The wireless signal may include a blending program to be carried out by the blending device. The blending device may include one or more sensors configured to sense parameters of the blending device. The wireless signal may include information related to the sensed parameters. A blending device network may be formed by providing a second blending device having a wireless controller in communication with the first blending device wireless controller. The first and second blending devices may share information over the network.
Food station cooking or water tray/pan/chafing dish with heat resistant and flame resistant/retardant wrap, roll, tape, band or print décor and stickers/embellishments
A food station decoration is provided on or over sidewalls of a pan, tray or chafing dish. The food station decoration is heat resistant and flame resistant or flame retardant. The food station decoration may be a pattern printed on a band, wrap, roll, tape or sticker or a coated surface of aluminum. The pattern has different colors distributed throughout the pattern. The ink or other substance used to provide color to the pattern as well as any adhesive or coating needs to be heat resistant and flame resistant or flame retardant.
Food item assembly line
A food assembly line is provided for assembling a food item according to an order. The food assembly line includes multiple work stations at which the food item may be positioned, and a display system including a display device at each of the multiple work stations. The display system is configured to display information associated with the order at the display devices. The display system is further configured to update the display devices during assembly of the food item so that each display device displays at least a portion of the information when the food item is positioned proximate the display device.
Nut cracker with mechanical advantage
A nut cracking device with a frame having elongated, parallel members that surround a mechanical advantage device, such as a hydraulic jack. Top and bottom channel members are mounted at opposite ends of the frame members to separate the frame members and form a rigid frame structure. An anvil with texture to reduce slipping and increase pressure is mounted to the top member and extends toward the jack, on which a table is mounted. A nut may be placed on the table. Upon displacement of the jack's shaft, the table moves toward the anvil and any nut on the table is clamped, and ultimately fractured, between the table and the anvil. A hand-grippable knob permits manual bypass of a valve to permit the table to be pulled away from the anvil by springs mounted to the table.
Emergency stop system for mixers
A food preparation apparatus is presented that has fast-stop capability. It includes a base unit, a mixing container attached to the base unit, a mixing tool configured to extend into and move within the mixing container, and a motor within the base unit. The motor is configured to provide a torque to the mixing tool. A control unit within the base unit is connected to the motor. A contact sensor is connected to the control unit, and the control unit is configured to stop rotation of the motor when the contact sensor detects a touch of a human hand. In some cases, contact with the mixing tool stops the motor, and in other cases, contact with an outer surface or user interface of the base unit stops the motor.
DEVICE FOR MINIMIZING MOISTURE LOSS FROM MEAT CAUSED BY PIERCING
A device that plugs a hole in meat being cooked, the hole of which has been formed by a meat thermometer. The device minimizes and or avoid the escape of liquefied fat or other natural secretions from the meat to promote overall tenderness (i.e., juiciness) of meat upon being cooked. The device consists of a stop that comprises a head portion having a surface area greater than the opening of a hole pierced in meat. The head has an upper surface and a lower surface. Extending from the lower surface is a shaft that has geometry similar to a shaft of a meat thermometer, however it is slightly larger in order to fill in the gap made by a thermometer. The upper surface of the head is shaped and sized so it may allow a user to easily remove the stop. In an embodiment, the upper surface includes a non-melting, low thermal conductivity element such as a piece of silicon rubber.
