An image forming device includes: an image forming section configured to form an image onto a recording medium in which sheets are laminated via an adhesive layer; a detection unit configured to detect an amount of an adhesive adhered beyond both edges of the recording medium in a width direction orthogonal to a transport direction; and a control unit configured to calculate a correction amount for correcting an image formation condition for the image forming section on the basis of a difference in the amount of the adhesive on both edges of the recording medium in the width direction detected by the detection unit.

An electronic device includes a controller and a unit section. The controller is configured to control operation of the electronic device. The unit section is drawable from a main body of the electronic device on which multiple loads and the controller are mounted. The unit section includes a first load, a second load, and a third load. In an image forming apparatus including an optical print head, a length of a cable from a regulating portion to a connecting portion in a state where the connecting portion is connected to a connector is set to a length that enables the connector to be located on a front side of an opening when the optical print head moves to a pull-out position in the state where the connecting portion is connected to the connector.

A cartridge includes a rotating body, a blade that extends in an axial direction of the rotating body and is disposed on the rotating body, a supporting member that is fixed to the blade and configured to support the blade in such a manner that the blade protrudes toward the rotating body in a shorter direction crossing the axial direction, a frame body including a placing surface that supports the supporting member, and a fixed portion that is disposed on the placing surface via the supporting member and fixed to the frame body. The supporting member includes a cut portion extending in the axial direction. The fixed portion includes a deformed portion deformed by given energy, and the deformed portion engages with the cut portion so that movement of the supporting member with respect to the frame body is restricted.

An image forming apparatus is disclosed. The image forming apparatus includes a print engine to perform a printing job using toner filled in a toner cartridge, a communicator to communicate with a memory chip attached to a toner refill apparatus which refills the toner cartridge with toner, a memory to store group information corresponding to a plurality of image forming apparatuses for sharing the toner refill apparatus, and a processor to determine whether or not the toner refill apparatus is usable based on information stored in a memory chip of the toner refill apparatus and group information stored in the memory.

An image forming apparatus includes a coating portion configured to perform a coating process that forms a coating film on a recording sheet with an image formed thereon, a main transport path configured to transport the recording sheet with the image formed thereon and to have a branching portion formed thereon, and a sub transport path configured to be once branched from the main transport path at the branching portion and to be returned to the main transport path again. The holding operation is operation of holding the medium while exposing a portion of the medium from the discharging slot to the outside. The controller selects one of the discharging operation and the holding operation on the basis of attribute information included in the print data, and causes the discharging section to execute the selected one of the discharging operation and the holding operation.
