Sheet discharging apparatus having electrostatic charge removal and image forming apparatus
A sheet discharging apparatus includes a discharging unit to discharge a sheet such that the sheet nipped between a first roller and a second roller is warped as viewed from a downstream side in a sheet discharge direction, a sheet supporting member to support the sheet discharged by the discharging unit, and a first charge-removing portion to remove electrostatic charges of the sheet by coming into contact with the sheet at a position downstream of a position where the first roller and the second roller nip the sheet in the sheet discharge direction. In addition, a second charge-removing portion removes electrostatic charges of the sheet by coming into contact with the sheet at a position downstream of the position where the first charge-removing portion comes into contact with the sheet in the sheet discharge direction.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a recording material loading unit, a transport unit, a detector, and a controller. A recording material is loaded in the recording material loading unit. The transport unit transports the recording material from the recording material loading unit to an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording material. The detector detects a transport state of the transported recording material on a way from the recording material loading unit to the image forming unit. The controller performs control to change a position in which a user is prompted to check the transport state of the recording material and display a countermeasure method, based on a determination criterion that is determined according to (i) the transport state of the recording material detected by the detector and (ii) recording material information on the recording material.
Image forming apparatus
Image forming apparatus have a plurality of models including a common control board and different in number of electrical components used. The image forming apparatus includes a wire harness including: a third connector removably connected to a first connector provided to the control board; fourth connectors removably connected to second connectors provided to the electrical components; and a plurality of cables connecting the third connector and the fourth connectors. In all of the plurality of models, cables are connected to pins located at both ends of the third connector. In a model in which the number of the plurality of cables is smaller than the number of pins of the third connector, pins of the third connector to which the plurality of cables are not connected are arranged at a central portion in a longitudinal direction of the third connector or near the central portion.

The lens unit includes a first lens array including a plurality of first lens elements each of which has a first optical axis and which are arranged in an arrangement direction perpendicular to the first optical axis. A second lens array includes a plurality of second lens elements each of which has a second optical axis and which are arranged in the arrangement direction while facing the first lens elements. The second lens array is in a positional relationship relative to the first lens array such that the second lens array is rotated about a virtual line perpendicular to both the first optical axis and the arrangement direction as the rotational axis by 180 degrees. The optical axes of the lens elements located at the substantially centers of the lens arrays in the arrangement direction are arranged to substantially coincide with each other.

Provided is an image forming device including: an image heating portion which includes a heater including a plurality of heating blocks divided in a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction of a recording material and heats an image formed on the recording material; a temperature sensing element which senses a temperature of each of the heating blocks; and a control portion which controls electric power supplied to each of the heating blocks on the basis of the temperature sensed by the temperature sensing element, wherein the control portion determines whether or not the recording material is in a skewed state in which the recording material is conveyed in an obliquely inclined state with respect to the conveying direction on the basis of a variation of the electric power supplied to end heating blocks for heating end portions of the recording material among the plurality of the heating blocks.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit (LBP) to form an image on a sheet, a conveyance unit configured to convey the sheet, a sensor, which is configured to move in a direction perpendicular to a conveying direction in which the conveyance unit conveys the sheet, and to read the image on the sheet, and a controller. The image forming unit forms a first trigger image and a first pattern image on the sheet, and the image forming unit forms a second trigger image and a second pattern image at a position on the sheet different from a position of both the first trigger image and the first pattern image in the conveying direction. A formation area of the first trigger image in the direction perpendicular to the conveying direction overlaps with a formation area of the second pattern image.

A driving device includes a motor including a rotating shaft, a drive transmission member attached to the rotating shaft and including a contact portion, and a drive output member including a contacted portion with which the contact portion comes into contact, and configured to be rotated around the rotating shaft when the rotating shaft of the motor is driven and the drive transmission member is rotated together with the rotation shaft in a first direction. The drive transmission member further includes an engaging portion. The drive output member includes an engaged portion with which the engaging portion is to be engaged when the drive output member is rotated relative to the drive transmission member in a second direction opposite to the first direction. A driving force is transmittable to the drive output member whether the drive transmission member is rotated in the first direction or the second direction.

A metal frame of an image forming apparatus includes first and second sheet metal in which the first sheet metal includes a first engaging portion which is provided between first and second plate portions of the first sheet metal and is bent away from the first plate portion in the plate thickness direction of the first plate portion, wherein the first plate portion, the second plate portion, and the first engaging portion are formed integrally with each other. The second sheet metal includes a third plate portion with which the first engaging portion engages and a second engaging portion which is bent away from the third plate portion in a plate thickness direction of the third plate portion and engages with the first plate portion, wherein the second engaging portion is adjacent to the third plate portion. The second sheet metal further includes a third engaging portion which is bent away from the third plate portion and engages with the second plate portion, the third engaging portion being adjacent to the third plate portion. The third plate portion, the second engaging portion, and the third engaging portion are formed integrally with each other.

An electronic apparatus includes a motor, a first power supply unit, a second power supply unit, a control unit, and a delay unit. The first power supply unit supplies a first voltage to the motor. The second power supply unit supplies a second voltage higher than the first voltage to the motor. The control unit supplies and stops supplying the second voltage from the second power supply unit to the motor while supplying the first voltage from the first power supply unit to the motor. The delay unit delays a rise in the second voltage supplied from the second power supply unit to the motor.
