PRINTING WITH MEDIA ROLL CHANGES AND NONPRODUCTION FRAMES
In an example of the disclosure, first and second print jobs are received at a printer. The first and second print jobs each include production frames. The first and second print jobs are printed with a media roll change occurring during printing. A first finishing device information nonproduction (“FDIN”) frame and a second FDIN frame are printed. The first and second FDIN frames include coded information regarding the first print job and the second print job, respectively. The coded information is for reading by a scanner at a finishing device. A press calibration nonproduction (“PCN”) frame that includes a printer calibration diagnostic is printed. A scanner at the printer is caused to capture the printer calibration diagnostic. A calibration operation is performed at the printer utilizing data or attributes captured from the printer calibration diagnostic.
POWER SUPPLY APPARATUS FOR SUPPLYING VARIOUS VOLTAGES AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS OPERATING ON VOLTAGE SUPPLIED FROM POWER SUPPLY APPARATUS
A power supply apparatus generates an output voltage. A boost circuit boosts a voltage supplied from a reference voltage source and generates a first power supply voltage. A processor controls switching the boost circuit on and off. A first transistor is connected to the first power supply voltage. A second transistor is connected to a collector of the first transistor. A resistance element is connected to a collector of the second transistor. A voltage source is connected to the resistance element and generates a second power supply voltage. A collector voltage, which is an output voltage, of the second transistor is controlled by controlling an amount of base current of the first transistor.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes circuitry that detects a position at which a first image is formed on a first face of a recording medium between an instant when the first image is formed on the first face of the recording medium and an instant when a second image is formed on a second face of the recording medium, calculates a first adjustment value used to adjust a position at which the second image is formed on the second face of the recording medium, based on the detected position at which the first image is formed on the first face of the recording medium, adjusts the position at which the second image is formed on the second face of the recording medium, based on the first adjustment value, and detects the adjusted position at which the second image is formed on the second face of the recording medium.
APPARATUS HAVING A FUNCTION OF RESERVING A SHEET FEEDING UNIT AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS CONNECTED TO THE SAME
An apparatus includes at least one memory and at least one processor functioning to reserve a sheet feeding unit of an image forming apparatus and provide information indicating that the sheet feeding unit is reserved.
APPARATUS INCLUDING POWER SOURCE UNIT
An apparatus provided with a power source device indicating a converting unit includes a switching unit, a discriminating unit, and a controller. In the case where the discriminating unit discriminates that an overcurrent state occurs during an operation of the power source device in a first mode, the mode of the operation of the power source device is switched to a second mode by the switching unit and then the occurrence of the overcurrent state is notified.
PRINT HEAD AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
The print head and light emitting elements, first and second drive circuits, and a control circuit. The light emitting elements and drive circuits are spaced from each other an arrangement pitch. The first drive circuit includes a first capacitor and sets a light emission level for the first light emitting element. The second drive circuit includes a second capacitor and sets a light emission level of the second light emitting element. The control circuit is connected to the first drive circuit by a first wiring and to the second drive circuit by a second wiring and controls voltages across the first and second capacitors individually. A difference between the length of the first wiring and the length of the second wiring is less than the arrangement pitch.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes: a toner image former that forms a toner image on an outer peripheral surface of a photosensitive rotating body and that transfers the toner image having been formed onto a transfer receiving object; a detector that detects a grayscale abnormality of the toner image on the photosensitive rotating body or the transfer receiving object; a cleaner that cleans the outer peripheral surface of the photosensitive rotating body; and a hardware processor that causes the cleaner to clean when the detector detects the grayscale abnormality at a same position in a main scanning direction per circumferential length of the photosensitive rotating body in a sub-scanning direction.
Electronic apparatus, image forming apparatus, and method for producing electronic apparatus
An electronic apparatus includes a first electronic device, a second electronic device, a bundled wire configured to supply at least one of an electric signal and electric power between the first and the second electronic devices, a frame member, a bundled wire guide, and a plurality of holding portions disposed at different positions on the wiring path. Each of the plurality of the holding portions includes a hinge portion connected to an upper portion of one of the pair of the side wall portions, a cover portion connected to the storage portion via the hinge portion, and an engagement portion to secure the cover portion in a closed position. The frame member includes a groove portion to which the bundled wire guide is fitted, and the bundled wire guide with the bundled wire stored is fitted into the groove portion.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming system includes: an image forming apparatus that forms a first image according to a job on a plurality of first sheets and inserts a second sheet between the plurality of first sheets; a cutting processor that sequentially performs cutting processing on the plurality of first sheets and the second sheet that are conveyed from the image forming apparatus; and a sheet discharging tray on which an output object obtained by the cutting processing on each of the plurality of first sheets and a slip sheet obtained by the cutting processing on the second sheet are stacked, wherein the cutting processor performs the cutting processing on each of the plurality of first sheets in accordance with a first cutting condition, and performs the cutting processing on the second sheet in accordance with a second cutting condition different from the first cutting condition.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member, a transfer member, an acquiring portion, an applying portion, and a controller. When a transfer voltage is subjected to constant-voltage control so that the transfer voltage applied to the transfer member by the applying portion is substantially constant, in a case that the transfer voltage when a toner amount used for a toner image is a first toner amount is a first voltage, the controller controls the applying portion so that the transfer voltage is a second voltage smaller in absolute value than the first voltage in a case that the toner amount is a second toner amount larger than the first toner amount. The acquiring portion acquires toner amount information on the toner amount for each toner image transferred onto a single recording material.
