System for generation of musical audio composition
A musical audio composition is generated based on a content library. The library is a collection of sequences and instruments. Sequences are partial musical compositions, while instruments are groups of audio samples. Instruments are made of audio data and musical data describing the events recorded in the audio. The process begins by reading the library. A new chain is created. A succession of sequences are selected to create a series of segments in the chain. The events in the selected sequences determine the selection of instruments. Algorithms determine the final arrangements and exact modulations of source audio to target outputs. The source audio are modulated, mixed and output as a stream of audio data. Finally the selections and events of the finished segment are output as metadata. An unlimited number of segments can be fabricated in series, each building and evolving from the preceding segments in the chain.
TIMEPIECE DISPLAY CORRECTION MECHANISM
A correction mechanism for a timepiece date display mechanism, arranged to change the angular position of a display wheel set comprised in such a date display mechanism, this correction mechanism includes, on the one hand, a control wheel set arranged to be controlled by user action and/or by a timepiece mechanism, and on the other hand, an output wheel set arranged to cooperate with such a display wheel set; this correction mechanism includes a free wheel mechanism which is arranged to disengage the output wheel set from the control wheel set in a first relative direction of rotation, and to engage the output wheel set with the control wheel set in a second relative direction of rotation opposite to the first relative direction of rotation.
TIMEPIECE TRANSMISSION MECHANISM WITH REDUCED COUPLING FORCE
A timepiece transmission mechanism, with a differential mechanism with inputs or outputs including a first wheel set cooperating with a first train and a second wheel set cooperating with a second train, this differential mechanism kinematically connecting the first wheel set and second wheel set in the coupling position, and separating them in the uncoupling position, the first wheel set carrying a planet wheel set which meshes with a toothing of an arbor integral in rotation with the second wheel set, and with a crown-wheel forming another input or output of the differential mechanism, which includes control means arranged to lock or release the crown-wheel to perform the coupling or the uncoupling function, depending on the position given to the control means by a selector arranged to cooperate with an actuator of a timepiece movement, or to be operated by a user.
DISPLAY MECHANISM WITH ZERO RESET FUNCTION
The invention concerns a display mechanism including a wheel carrying, constrained to rotate with it, a first wheel and a snail-shaped cam, the mechanism having an active first state in which the first wheel is driven in rotation by a driving wheel and a zero reset second state in which it is no longer driven to allow it to return to a predefined position, associated with a predefined position of the display member, the display mechanism further including a feeler-spindle adapted to cooperate with the perimeter of the cam, the feeler-spindle and the perimeter of the cam being adapted and sized so that the feeler-spindle exerts on the cam, in the second state, a return force having a non-radial component adapted to return the first wheel to its predefined position.
Smart music device and process that allows only key correct notes and scales to be played
A smart music device and process provide users with an interface to play a selected song in the correct song key. The device includes a graphical user interface with areas demarcated by translucent conductive ink printed on the layer's underside. A layer of force sensor resistors (FSRs) are under the areas. Touching one of the areas closes a circuit between then conductive ink and FSR triggering a note to be played. The demarcated areas are illuminated to guide the user on scale and root node position. Metadata in memory storage includes the song key which is used during song playback to trigger assignment of the key correct scale across the FSRs and illuminate its root position of musical notes. Touching an area triggers a signal sent to a connected musical instrument to play the note.
Mobile device and method for executing music-related application
Provided are a mobile device, a method for operating the same, and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium. The mobile device includes a touch display configured to sense a user input; a memory; and a processor configured to examine, upon receiving the user input for generating an audio file from the touch display, characteristics of the user input and characteristics of a first audio included in first audio data stored in the memory, generate melody data based on the characteristics of the user input and the characteristics of the first audio, generate a second audio based on the melody data and chord information included in the first audio data, and generate the audio file by combining the generated second audio with the first audio.
TIMEPIECE MOVEMENT AND TIMEPIECE
A timepiece movement includes a motor that has a rotor for rotating an indicating hand, a control unit that rotates the rotor by using a main drive pulse and an auxiliary drive pulse, and that determines a reference position of the indicating hand by detecting a rotation state of the rotor when the indicating hand is rotated using a detection drive pulse based on the main drive pulse, a train wheel that transmits a drive force of the motor to the indicating hand, and that has an indicating hand gear and a second intermediate pinion which mesh with each other, and an elastic portion that is disposed in the indicating hand gear, and that is elastically deformed by coming into contact with the second intermediate pinion when the indicating hand is located at the reference position.

Musical composition authoring environment integrated with synthetic musical instrument
Advanced, but user-friendly composition and editing environments for musical scores may be provided using the types, and in some cases the instances, of computing devices that will in turn consume musical score content so generated. Indeed, by integrating musical composition facilities within synthetic musical instruments that can be widely deployed on hand-held or portable computing devices, a social music network that includes such synthetic musical instruments gains access to a large, and potentially prolific, population of authors, editors and reviewers, as well as to the community-sourced musical scores that they can generate. By curating such content and/or by applying crowd-sourcing or other computational techniques to maintain quality, a social music network may rapidly deploy the new and ever evolving content that its user community desires.
TORQUE SMOOTHING FOR A TIMEPIECE, PARTICULARLY WITH A STRIKING MECHANISM
Timepiece with a movement driving an output wheel set, a passing strike or minute repeater mechanism, including a strike drive wheel set including a release ratchet with which cooperates a click for execution of a strike function, a strike uncoupling lever for moving any click away from the strike wheel set, including a first lever carrying the click and its spring, the output wheel set activating a second lever, the pivoting of which causes the first lever to pivot, the striking mechanism includes a torque smoothing jumper, which is returned by a first spring into abutment on the output wheel set, in order to use, when the second lever is not in mesh with the output wheel set, an equivalent torque to that which it uses when meshed with this output wheel set.
