Display module including elements movable around deformable links, associated display system and timepiece including such a display system
The present invention relates to a display module including a fixed frame and at least two substantially rigid display organs. The display organs each include a portion displaying a pattern, said display portions being complementary to one another such that it forms said pattern in at least one relative position of said display organs. Furthermore, at least one of the display organs is secured and movable relative to the frame via a deformable link at least between a first resting position, in which the display portions are separate from one another, and a display position, in which said display portions are counter-affixed to one another to form and display said pattern. Lastly, said display organ(s) movable relative to the frame cooperate with an actuating push-piece arranged to transmit a movement force of this display organ by elastic deformation around its deformable link(s) from said resting position toward said display position.

Electronic device
A novel electronic device is provided. Alternatively an electronic device of a novel embodiment is provided. An electronic device includes a support and a display portion. The support has a first curved surface. The display portion is provided over the support. The display portion has a top surface and a side surface in contact with at least one side of the top surface. The side surface has a second curved surface. The top surface includes a first display region. The side surface includes a second display region. The first display region and the second display region are continuously provided.
Capillary flow control system for fluid indicator
A capillary system for a fluid indicator includes a fluid restrictor, and a capillary tube. The fluid restrictor has a small aperture formed therethrough. The capillary tube is adapted to receive a fluid. The fluid restrictor is sealingly affixed into at least one end of the capillary tube so that the small aperture communicates between the inside of the capillary tube and the outside of the capillary tube. The capillary tube is optionally treated so that an inner surface is oilophobic and hydrophobic. The system better controls the interface or meniscus 14 between the fluids contained in the capillary tube, preventing mixing.

DRIVING DEVICE, ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE, DRIVING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An electronic timepiece includes a display, a driver that drives the display, and a CPU that controls the driver. The CPU inverts, in a time less than or equal to a reference inversion time and at an inversion timing of a constant polarity inversion cycle, a polarity of a voltage to be applied to the display. Additionally, the CPU outputs image data to the driver at an image update timing of a cycle that is synchronized with the inversion cycle and that is equivalent to a reference cycle equal to the inversion cycle multiplied by an inverse of an integer. The image update timing is a time when a reference adjustment time elapses after a timing of the reference cycle. The reference adjustment time is less than a time of the reference cycle and greater than or equal to the reference inversion time.

Modular timepiece movement with functional modules
A mechanical timepiece movement in the form of a modular unit. The movement includes at least one modular unit for performing a particular timepiece function, which is irremovably pre-adjusted by irremovably securing adjustment and/or assembling components included in the functional module after the particular horological function has been adjusted and function checked on the test bench. The pre-adjusted functional module is irremovably secured to a plate included in the movement or included in another pre-adjusted functional module of the movement, or irremovably secured to another pre-adjusted functional module included in the movement.

Continuous time adjustment daylight saving time method and apparatus
There is disclosed in one example a method of observing continuous daylight adjustment (CDA) time, including: commencing at a first transition date observing an annual spring-forward period including lengthened social seconds, wherein a lengthened social second is longer than a standard scientific second; commencing at a second transition date observing an annual fall-back period including shortened social seconds, wherein a shortened social second is shorter than a standard scientific second; and computing and electronically displaying in a human-readable format a current social time different from a current scientific time.
