Chronograph repeater mechanism with safety function
An acoustic timepiece display mechanism includes a chronograph repeater for the acoustic display, by a striking mechanism, of a duration measured by a chronograph mechanism. The striking mechanism includes a winding lever for driving a rack to move a striking unit including a rack pinion integral with a striking ratchet, to move a striking rack to read the magnitude concerned and to release a corresponding strike function. The acoustic display mechanism includes, between a control mechanism included in the chronograph mechanism and the winding lever, a safety mechanism arranged, depending on the position of the strike wheel set, to allow or prevent travel of an operating lever of the control mechanism of the chronograph mechanism, which operating lever is arranged to be pivoted under the action of a chronograph start pusher.

Compensated capillary indicator
A temperature compensated bellows is provided for storage and displacement of a first fluid used as an indicator in a capillary tube. The bellows is made of a housing made of flexible, watertight material. The housing is made up of an upper portion, a lower portion, and an outer accordion formed portion. The accordion formed portion has a length/and is sealingly connected along a periphery between the upper and lower portions. At least one entry/exit port formed on at least one of the portions thereof. At least one of the upper and lower portions extends from a periphery of the accordion formed portion substantially within the housing so as to reduce the storage volume. Preferably, within this area defined by the portion which extends within the housing, a temperature compensation device is disposed. This device is made up of a miniature bellows and reservoir in which a second fluid is placed having a coefficient of expansion which is different than the first fluid. The device is arranged to allow expansion of the second fluid to negatively affect the displacement of the first fluid in the capillary tube. In this manner, the appropriate selection of a first and second fluid allows for temperature compensation, so as to yield an indication which is consistent and accurate across a large range of temperatures.

Reward clock
The present invention is directed to devices that may be used to help young children stay in bed or their room until it is time to get up. The device may be configured as a clock. The clock may be programmable to have a duration of a nap time, or a time when the child is able to get up. A visual countdown timer may be provided with the device (e.g., on the clock face), which may include a graphical representation of the remaining fraction of time before get up time. The visual countdown timer may not include number indicia, but rather includes a graphic (e.g., ring extending about the perimeter of the clock face), which gradually diminishes as the predetermined get up time is approached. A reward drawer may also be provided, which automatically unlocks at the get up time, and provides the child with a prize.
