FLUID SENSOR AND CONTROL SYSTEM
A capacitive sensor and control system is configured to detect the presence (or absence) of fluid within a container. Configured in a vat or frypot of a deep fryer, the sensor determines when a level of liquid within the frypot is at or above the level of the sensor. The sensor is in communication with the control system and the sensor sends a signal to the control system representative of the presence or absence of liquid within the frypot and at the level of the sensor. The controller receives the signal from the sensor, and allows operation of the one or more heat sources for heating the frypot when the signal received from the sensor is representative of liquid being disposed within the frypot at or above the level of the sensor, and prevents operation of the one or more heat sources when the signal received from the sensor indicates that liquid is not disposed within the frypot at or above the level of the sensor.
ELECTRIC KETTLE
An electric kettle may include a body made of a metal material, formed by an outer body and an inner body having a cylindrical shape with an open upper surface and an open lower surface, a heat insulation space being formed between the outer body and the inner body, a heating module configured to form a bottom of a space in which fluid, such as water may be contained inside of the body and heat the fluid, a mounting port that passes through the outer body and the inner body, a window made of a transparent material and mounted on the mounting port to allow an inside of the body to be viewed therethrough, and a gasket disposed along a circumference of the window to seal a gap between the inner body and the window. The window may be doubly sealed in contact with the outer body and the gasket.
COOKING EQUIPMENT RUNNING METHOD AND DEVICE
A cooking equipment running method and device are provided, and relate to the technical field of terminals. The method includes: a current running mode is acquired if it is detected that a water level of cooking equipment exceeds a preset water level during a running process of the cooking equipment; a target running mode is determined according to the current running mode, heating power in the target running mode being less than heating power in the current running mode; and the current running mode is switched to the target running mode.
Apparatus and method for removing non-condensable gases from a steam generator
An apparatus for removing non-condensable gases from a self-contained or closed loop steam generator is provided. The apparatus is connected to an appliance, which includes the self-contained or closed loop steam generator. The apparatus may be configured to include a control system connected to various portions of the apparatus to provide for automatic removable of non-condensable gases from the steam generator. However, it should be understood that the apparatus can be operated manually. The removal of non-condensable gases occurs prior to generating steam for a cooking process with the apparatus attached directly to the appliance, or with the apparatus configured as a separate unit.
Display system for blending systems
A blending system is provided for displaying information. The blending system may include a display system. The display system may project or display an image on a blending container. The image may be a gradient marking or text relating to a blending process. The display system may contain a projection device capable of projecting an image, a control component operatively controlling the blender display system and at least one sensor operatively evaluating data associated with a blender device to provide feedback to the control component.
Coffee brewing appliance with variable operating parameters
An infused beverage making apparatus has an affixed or remotely disposed control interface and a processor. The processor receives inputs from the user control interface and measurements from a plurality of sensors and controls various infused beverage qualities according thereto.
Dosing device for a filter holder of an espresso coffee machine and dosing method implemented with such a device
A dosing device dispenses predetermined doses of ground coffee into a filter holder of an espresso coffee machine. The dosing device includes a carousel body formed by plural compartments sized to hold respective p doses of ground coffee. Each compartment includes a top opening and a bottom provided with members for opening and closing thereof. The carousel body can be displaced between a first position, in which the top of one of the compartments is at a discharge conduit of ground coffee and a second position in which the bottom of the compartment is positioned above the filter holder. The dosing device disclosure can arrange doses of ground coffee, different from each other, preparing different types of beverage, within respective containment compartments, select the dose for the beverage, select the compartment that contains it, move the compartment to the filter holder, and supply the selected dose to the filter holder.
LIQUID CONTAINER, BEVERAGE PRODUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ONE OR A PLURALITY OF LIQUID FILLING LEVELS OF A CONTAINER
The invention relates to a container (2) for receiving a liquid comprising a thin film capacitive sensor (100) comprising a level sensor for detecting the liquid filling level of the container (2) over time, wherein the sensor (100) further comprises a settable device allowing setting one or more desired liquid filling levels of the container (2), of the same or of different liquids. Preferably, the settable device is configured as a touch screen, arranged in the external layer of the sensor (100). The invention further relates to a beverage production system (S) comprising a beverage production machine (1) having a beverage production unit (10) for preparing and dispensing a beverage and a control unit (50) for controlling a beverage production of the beverage production unit (10), and a container (2) as the one described. Yet further, the invention relates to a method for setting one or a plurality of liquid filling levels of a container (2).
PELLET GRILLS HAVING PELLET LEVEL DETECTION SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
A pellet grill includes a detection system configured to detect at least one pellet level in a hopper of the pellet grill. The detection system can include at least one sensor that is configured to detect at least one condition in the hopper of the pellet grill. The detection system may optionally include a communications module that is configured to notify a user of the at least one pellet level in the hopper of the pellet grill.
COOKING APPARATUS WITH REFUEL CHUTE
A barbecue smoker device for cooking food includes a container, a heat source disposed in the container, and a fuel chute coupled to the container. The fuel chute includes a door panel, a hinge mechanism, and a back panel coupled to the door panel. The fuel chute is rotatable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position the fuel chute receives a supply of fuel, and in the closed position the fuel chute directs the supply of fuel to a fuel basket.
