Level Detection System
There is disclosed herein a level detection system includes a housing (120) having a plurality of wall portions defining a receiving space for a container (200). The system further includes a capacitor having a first plate (142a) and a second plate (142b), the wall portions including a first wall portion having the first plate (142a) and a second wall portion having the second plate (142b). When the container is in the receiving space, a capacitance of the capacitor depends on a level of substance in the container (200). The system also includes a processor configured to determine the level of the substance in the container (200) based on the capacitance of the capacitor.
An Appliance
An appliance (100) has a vessel (120) for containing substance, the vessel (120) having an electrical energy storage component and at least one electrically powered device. The appliance (100) has a base (140) on which the vessel (120) is removably located. When the vessel (120) is located on the base (140), the base (140) is configured to charge the electrical energy storage component. The electrical storage component is configured to power the at least one electrically powered device of the vessel (120).
Frying oil sensing means and frying oil management within an industrial fryer setup
Food processing line including: a frying vessel, at least one storage tank arranged in fluid communication with the frying vessel, a first guided wave radar sensor arranged in the frying vessel, an analysis unit for determining a permittivity of the frying oil accommodated in the frying vessel based on measurement data of the first guided wave radar sensor, at least one additional guided wave radar sensor arranged in the at least one storage tank, a control unit to control an inflow of replacement frying oil into the frying vessel from the at least one storage tank and/or an outflow of used frying oil from the frying vessel to the at least one storage tank based on the measurements of the first guided wave radar sensor and based on measurements of the at least one additional guided wave radar sensor arranged in the storage tank.
DOSING DEVICE FOR A FILTER HOLDER OF AN ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE AND DOSING METHOD IMPLEMENTED WITH SUCH A DEVICE
A dosing device dispenses predetermined doses of ground coffee into a filter holder of an espresso coffee machine. The dosing device includes a carousel body formed by plural compartments sized to hold respective p doses of ground coffee. Each compartment includes a top opening and a bottom provided with members for opening and closing thereof. The carousel body can be displaced between a first position, in which the top of one of the compartments is at a discharge conduit of ground coffee and a second position in which the bottom of the compartment is positioned above the filter holder. The dosing device disclosurecan arrange doses of ground coffee, different from each other, preparing different types of beverage, within respective containment compartments, select the dose for the beverage, select the compartment that contains it, move the compartment to the filter holder, and supply the selected dose to the filter holder.
Electric kettle
An electric kettle comprising a container body comprising electric heating elements adapted to heat water contained in the container body, and comprising a base, configured to support the container body and to supply electric power at least to such electric heating elements when the container body is supported by the base; the container body comprises a longitudinal extension axis and is able to rotate, about the longitudinal extension axis, with respect to the base; the electric kettle further comprises means for detecting the angular movement of the container body with respect to the base, where the extent of the angular movement detected by the means for detecting angular movement determines the degree of activation of the electric heating elements necessary in order to bring the water to a desired temperature.
CONTROL METHOD OF COOKING APPARATUS
A control method of a cooking apparatus. The control method of the cooking apparatus includes controlling an operation of the water supply pump to supply water to the steam generator, controlling an operation of the water supply pump for a period of time to additionally supply water to the steam generator when a level of water supplied to the steam generator reaches a position. The method includes controlling an operation of a drain pump to discharge the water from the steam generator when the period of time expires, and respectively controlling an operation of a steam heater installed in the steam generator and a bottom heater installed on a bottom surface of the cooking apparatus, when the level of the water in the steam generator reaches the position at which the water is discharged from the steam generator.
Hot liquid safety pitcher
A pitcher for safely receiving, transporting and decanting a hot liquid includes a body with first and second openings, and a bottom cover removably attached to the body. An opening baffle near the first opening reduces the hot liquid flow rate through the first opening during decanting, and a funnel near the second opening directs the hot liquid through the second opening when receiving the hot liquid. The funnel directs the hot liquid from the second opening to the first opening if the hot liquid exits the second opening during decanting. The pitcher includes an elongated handle, a fin for dividing the hot liquid during decanting, and a scalloped outer sidewall for limiting contact with a user's hand.
GLASS JUG
A glass jug includes a glass body having a top side with an opening, a lid for covering the opening and a handle protruding from the glass body. The body includes level marks for indicating a quantity of liquid contained in the glass body, wherein the level marks comprise profiles integrally formed with the glass body.
COFFEE BREWING APPLIANCE WITH VARIABLE OPERATING PARAMETERS
An infused beverage making apparatus has an affixed or remotely disposed control interface and a processor. The processor receives inputs from the user control interface and measurements from a plurality of sensors and controls various infused beverage qualities according thereto.
Electric kettle
An electric kettle includes a power supply base and a kettle main body. The kettle main body has a container, a heater provided on the container, a water amount sensor that detects the amount of water in the container, a water temperature sensor that detects the current temperature of the water in the container, and a first display part that displays information on the amount of water detected by the water amount sensor. The power supply base has a power supply cable to be connected to a utility power supply, an operation part that receives a user operation concerning the desired temperature of the water, a power supply circuit that generates a driving power for the heater from an electric power supplied from the utility power supply, and a second display part 46 that displays the current temperature and the desired temperature in a time division manner. The kettle main body includes a battery that drives the water amount sensor and the first display part when the kettle main body is separated from the power supply base.
