An electronic device includes a strap and a body. The strap includes a battery having a specific width, a specific thickness, and a specific length, a battery bracket having a size approximate to or greater than the size of the battery, seating the battery, and having at least one furrow formed around a part curved with a specific curvature, and a strap cover surrounding the battery bracket on which the battery is seated. The body has a side portion coupled to the at least one strap.

A flexible thermal conduit includes a first material extending along an axial length of the thermal conduit, the first material having a first thermal conductivity, a second material encasing at least a portion of the first material, the second material having a second thermal conductivity that is less than the first thermal conductivity, and a thermally conductive silicone molded over at least a portion of the first material and the second material such that the thermally conductive silicone forms the first end and the second end of the thermal conduit. The thermal conduit may be used in electronic device, such as a wearable device, to transmit heat from a heat source (e.g., a processor) to a thermal ground (e.g., a housing).
Wearable Computing Device Having a Charging System for a Rechargeable Battery
A wearable computing device is provided. The wearable computing device includes a housing and a rechargeable battery disposed within a cavity defined by the housing. The wearable computing device further includes a charging system disposed within the cavity. The charging system includes an alternating current (AC) generator configured to generate alternating current power. The charging system includes a rectifier circuit electrically coupled to a stator of the AC generator. The rectifier circuit is configured to convert AC power to direct current (DC) power. The charging system includes an energy storage device electrically coupled to the rectifier circuit such that the energy storage device is charged with the DC power. The charging system includes a solid state switch configured to selectively couple the energy storage device to the rechargeable battery to transfer charge from the energy storage device to the rechargeable battery.

An electronic watch includes a power source, an electrostatic motor including a rotor in which a plurality of electret films are arranged in a rotational direction and a plurality of fixed electrodes arranged in the rotational direction at positions facing the rotor, a hand rotating in conjunction with the rotation of the rotor, and a motor control circuit controlling the electrostatic motor. The motor control circuit selectively executes a hand movement mode for rotating the hand and a stop mode for keeping the hand stationary. In the stop mode, the motor control circuit keeps the rotor stationary through electrostatic forces exerted on the electret films from the fixed electrodes with the polarities of the fixed electrodes maintained.

An electronic watch includes a power source, an electrostatic motor including a rotor in which a plurality of electret films are arranged in a rotational direction and a plurality of fixed electrodes arranged in the rotational direction at positions facing the rotor, a hand rotating in conjunction with the rotation of the rotor, and a motor control circuit controlling the electrostatic motor. The motor control circuit selectively executes a hand movement mode for rotating the hand and a stop mode for keeping the hand stationary. In the stop mode, the motor control circuit keeps the rotor stationary through electrostatic forces exerted on the electret films from the fixed electrodes with the polarities of the fixed electrodes maintained.

An electronic watch may include a housing, a display positioned at least partially within the housing, a transparent cover coupled to the housing and at least partially covering the display, a battery, and a coil coupled to the battery and configured to, during a battery charging operation, supply a first current to the battery and, during a haptic output operation, receive a second current from the battery to produce a haptic output. The electronic watch may further include a ferromagnetic element positioned at least partially within the housing and movable relative to the housing. The second current may cause the coil to produce a magnetic field, and the haptic output may be produced as a result of an interaction between the magnetic field and the ferromagnetic element that causes the ferromagnetic element to move relative to the housing.

The swing bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring, and a plurality of rolling elements, a plurality of first grooves arranged at intervals along a circumferential direction being formed on an outer circumferential surface of the inner ring, a plurality of second grooves arranged at intervals along a circumferential direction being formed on an inner circumferential surface of the outer ring, each rolling element being disposed between the corresponding first groove and the second groove, and the rolling element, the first groove, and the second groove being configured to restrict relative rotational movement between the inner ring and the outer ring and allow the inner ring and the outer ring to produce shaft axis deflection movement.

The electronic device includes a housing including a front plate that faces a first direction and a rear plate that faces a second direction, which is opposite the first direction, a display panel configured to output a screen through the front plate, a bracket disposed between the display panel and the rear plate, the bracket being configured to support internal components, a flexible printed circuit board including a first area electrically connected to the display panel, and a second area extending from the first area and disposed between the display panel and the bracket, a wireless charging structure disposed on one face of the second area or inside the second area, the wireless charging structure including a coil portion and transmission wires electrically connected to the coil portion, and a magnetic plate disposed between the bracket and the flexible printed circuit board, and at least one area of the magnetic plate being disposed to face the wireless charging structure.
