Corner moulding with break-off base stem portion
A moulding usable in a corner joint between two structures features a base stem for adherence to the first structure using double-sided tape, and a cap attached to a proximal end of the base stem for placement against an outer surface of the second structure. The base stem features a break line at which a distal portion of the base stem can be cut, snapped or torn from a proximal portion of the base stem. If a sufficiently sized gap is present between the first and second structures, the base stem is left fully intact and inserted into the gap. In the absence of a sufficient gap, the distal portion of the base stem is detached at the break line, reducing to the base stem to a size that fits between the cap and the outer surface of the second structure.
DOUBLE-WALLED BACKLIT CABINET STRUCTURE FOR HOT TUBS AND ALIKE
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a backlit cabinet design (10), of the type used for a hot tub or bath tub, the cabinet structure comprising an external cabinet wall or spare backlit elements (12), an internal structural wall (16), and an air room cavity (14) arranged between the external cabinet wall or spare elements and the internal structural wall. Furthermore, the cabinet and the internal structural wall can be molded together with a shell (20) for receiving water, and a recessed bottom perimeter channel (22) extends around the bottom of the cabinet structure and allows the installation of lights (24) in the air room cavity to backlight the external cabinet wall.
Convertible Bathing System
A convertible bathing system (1) adapted to be used with a toilet (100), the convertible bathing system (1) including: a) a bathing plate (2) with a drain hole (4) and a handle (6); and b) a folding frame (10) with one or more fixed legs (12) connected to one or more folding legs (14) by one or more crossmembers (24) connected to the bathing plate (2). The convertible bathing system (1) has a vertical storage position and a horizontal bathing position (52). In the vertical storage position the bathing plate (2) is folded above a tank (101) of the toilet (100) out of the way of the toilet (100). In the horizontal bathing position (52), the bathing plate (2) is disposed over a waste opening (102) of the toilet (100), aligning the drain hole (4) with the waste opening (102). When the one or more crossmembers (24) are in the vertical position, the one or more folding legs (14) fold into a parallel relationship with the one or more crossmembers (24). In the horizontal position (52), the one or more folding legs (14) are folded down into a perpendicular relationship with the one or more crossmembers (24).
Portable Bathing Tub
A portable bathing tub is shown and described. The portable bathing tub includes a frame having a housing placed on frame. The frame has a plurality of casters located on a bottom side of the frame. The housing is made up of a plurality of sidewalls and a top portion. The top portion includes a tub portion and a sink portion. There is a retractable shower fluidly connected to a water inlet source. There is further a grey water tank location within the housing supported by the frame.
Grab rail with automatically activated light
A grab rail with automatically activated light including: a straight longitudinal bar having a front longitudinal face and a rear longitudinal face and hollow openings at each end; two light units, each sealingly but releasably secured in one of said hollow end openings; a battery source connected with the light units and located inside the bar; at least one noise activated switching device operatively associated with said LED light units and battery source; and at least one post mount with flange, wherein an end of the post distal the flange is secured to the rear longitudinal face of the bar.
Surface protection assembly
A surface protection assembly to protect the surface of an article such as bathtubs, urinals, sinks, and utensils. The surface protection assembly includes a thin, flexible protective layer configured to attach onto a surface of the article. The protective layer is made of clingy plastic material. The protective layer enables a user to handle the article without a risk of the article's surface being deteriorated. The protective layer could be readily removed from the article surface along with the accumulated dirt or bacteria, after each usage.
Overflow system for a fluid container
An overflow system for determining a level of a liquid to be contained in a container, which comprises a body extending along a longitudinal axis, the body being insertable within the container; and a level sensor unit secured to the body for detecting the level of the liquid along the longitudinal axis of the body.
Dry floor bath tub
Bath tubs have been around for many hundreds of years, however the bath tub & shower combination not as long. The bath and shower combination has its conveniences, it gives the user a choice; the choice of just taking a tub bath, a shower or both. Water on the floor presents a safety hazard that the elderly and very young find difficult to negotiate. Therefore there is a need to prevent water from exiting the bath tub and shower enclosure. What is new about this device or this tub & shower modification is its ability to keep bathroom floor dry, during the bathing process. It does this by redirecting the water back into the tub's own drainage system through a combination usage of shower curtains, water shields and a modified drainage system.
Anti-slip surfaces
A shower tray or other article having a face with an anti-slip surface comprising an array of spaced apart raised projections. Each projection has a height of between 0.5 mm and 1 mm and a top surface with an area of between 3.14 mm2 and 50.27 mm2, adjacent projections being spaced apart by between 10 mm and 16 mm. Each projection is shaped to have a right angled edge between its top and side. The projections are flared at the bottom. The anti-slip surface exhibits high anti-slip properties while being comfortable and easy to clean.
Dry floor bath tub attachment
This device when adapted to an ordinary bath tub, converts the tub into a system that prevents spilled water resulting from the process of taking a bath, from spilling onto the bathroom floor. This device captures the water that ordinarily would have fallen on the floor and redirects it to a reservoir tank, for holding. This tank or water holding device, stores the water until it is quickly and easily disposed by dumping it back into the tub's drainage system. There is no other system that has the ability to keep the bathroom floor completely dry when either taking a shower or a bath. With a series of shield, water trough and hoses, the water that ordinarily would have become a safety hazard on the floor, is quickly channeled off to a drain line, there to a reservoir tank from which the water would be disposed. The device is attractive, non-intrusive and light weight. It is also detachable after installation and is completely portable and transferrable.
