SAFETY CUSHION FOR BATHTUB
A safety cushion that can be easily attached to and flush mounted on a surface of a bathtub and/or bathtub rim is disclosed. The safety cushion includes an elongated body fabricated from a pliable material such as rubber, silicone or polyurethane, and is provided with a plurality of substantially concave openings extending partially through a thickness of the body from a bottom surface towards a top surface. Each opening is arranged so as to leave a reduced body thickness between an apex of the opening and the top surface. This configuration enables the safety cushion to be attached to a surface of a bathtub or bathtub rim by suction when the pliable material is depressed over each opening from the top surface towards the bottom surface.
WATER DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DELIVERING WATER
There is described a method for controlling a liquid delivery system adapted to deliver a liquid in a container, comprising: receiving a desired temperature for a liquid to be delivered and a desired level of liquid within the container; adjusting a mixing valve connected to a source of hot liquid and a source of cold liquid to obtain the desired temperature; operating a flow control valve for delivering the liquid having the desired temperature and closing a drain closure system of the container and closing a drain closure device; monitoring a level of the liquid within the container; and closing the flow control valve when the monitored level of liquid substantially corresponds to the desired level of liquid.

OVERFLOW SENSOR
There is described an apparatus for determining a level of a liquid to be contained in a container, comprising: a body extending along a longitudinal axis, the body being insertable within the container; and a level sensor unit secured to the body for detecting the level of the liquid along the longitudinal axis of the body.
Bathtub door systems and methods
A bathtub insert can include a frame, a door movably coupled with the frame and movable with respect to the frame between an opened position and a closed position, an elongate latch coupled with the door, a catch coupled with the frame, and a support structure, the support structure being coupled to the frame.
Accelerated drain apparatus and method for walk-in bathtub
An accelerated drain system for a walk-in bathtub with a water outlet in a side wall communicates water to a diverter valve biased to circulate the water in the bathtub and movable selectively to communicate water through a reverse check valve to a drain, the reverse check valve biased closed to prevent water flow and movable selectively to allow water flow to the drain, with a controller configured for moving the diverter valve selectively from the second position to the closed position for subsequent use of the walk-in bathtub. A method of rapid draining of a walk-in bathtub is disclosed.
Adjustable door assembly for a shower enclosure area
A door assembly comprising a hinge post and a hinge stile, the hinge post and hinge stile configured for a first mating configuration and a second mating configuration. The first and second mating configurations enable adjustable placement of a shower door with the hinge post forming an extension below the bottom of the hinge stile in both configurations.
DRAIN FIXTURE
This disclosure provides a drain fitting having a discharge potion comprising a chamber formed by walls extending between and around an inlet and an outlet, the inlet being wider than the outlet or having a greater cross-sectional area than the outlet and the walls having interior surfaces sloping inwardly between the inlet and outlet.

Bathtub having sliding access door for the disabled and elderly
A bathtub has a doorway in a sidewall thereof. A door is slidably mounted to guides on guide followers mounted to both the door and the guides. The guide followers carry the door along a substantially horizontal translation along the sidewall between open and closed positions. A releasable latch and cooperating latch actuator is mounted to the door for releasable latching engagement of the door when in a watertight sealed engagement in the doorway, and for releasing the door from such engagement upon actuation by a user of the latch actuator into its release position. A passive hydrostatic seal is mounted so as to be sandwiched between the door and the doorway doorframe when the door is closed.
