PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
Methods, apparatuses, and systems for identifying and tracking products in a material handling system and/or for identifying and handling product defects in a material handling system are provided. An example method may include receiving one or more articles in the material handling system; capturing one or more images of the one or more articles; identifying at least one visual defect indicator on at least one article of the one or more articles; and determining an indication corresponding to at least one of a defect of the at least one article or a portion of the material handling system causing the defect.

SINGLE USE DISPOSABLE ELAPSED TIME INDICATOR WITH ABSORBABLE MATERIAL
A single use disposable elapsed time indicator and methods for using same include an indicator that can have a flexible chamber for holding an aqueous medium and a slot with a viewing window and a longitudinal axis. The slot is connected to the chamber via a passage having a breakable seal therein. An absorbable material is located within and at a first end of the slot that swells upon exposure to the aqueous medium. A graded scale is also included along the longitudinal axis of the slot to indicate periods of elapsed time. The absorbable material is configured to expand from the first end of the slot toward an opposing end of the slot along the longitudinal axis and thereby mark elapsed time on the graded scale.
Automatic report rate optimization for sensor applications
A report interval mode is selected from one of multiple selectable report interval modes in cases where the preferred sensor sample intervals of multiple applications are different. By using multiple selectable report interval modes some of the problems that occur when a single fixed report interval mode is used can be avoided.
Indicating devices based on lateral diffusion of a mobile phase through a non-porous stationary phase
This invention relates to indicating devices, such as time-temperature indicators based on lateral diffusion of a vapor of a solid and/or liquid mobile phase (e.g., a sublimeable dye or an activator) through a non-porous stationary phase, such as a thin layer of a polymeric material. The lateral diffusion of the mobile phase creates a noticeable boundary in the stationary phase whose movement depends upon processes, such as time and temperature.

ELECTRONIC TIMER
An electronic interval timer in a regular dodecahedron case is described. The timer is set by orienting the timer so that a face with a time desired is face up. The timer is free of buttons, switches, and electronic displays. It is sealed for ruggedness and water-resistance, and free of a battery door and any moving parts, except for two speakers on opposing faces. The timer indicates start and end of set time intervals with unique speech announcements or tones. Two time intervals may run concurrently by orienting the timer to a second time while the first is running. A time interval may be selected by rotating to multiple faces where the time interval desired is the sum of the times on the faces. A timer mode may be programmed via an orientation sequence. Taps may be used to request a time remaining announcement or to set volume. Functions include a stopwatch. Waterproofing is achieved by a gap in a speaker shelf that admits air but not water.
Generating timer data
For generating timer data, a processor identifies a timer command from a command signal from an input device. The processor further identifies a timer interval and timer characteristics from the timer command. In addition, the processor generates timer data comprising a timer tag from the timer characteristics and the timer interval.
Preprogrammed electronic reminder device
A preprogrammed electronic reminding device is provided with color coded light indicators that correspond to a color associated with a particular task. The device comprises of a housing, PCB and preprogrammed micro-controller. The face of device is customizable for the display of information in the way of but not limited to logos, advertising or other messages. The reminder device has a means for fastening the housing to another surface.
TIMER MEASUREMENT DEVICE, ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE, TIMER MEASUREMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A timer measurement device includes a signal output unit, an operation input unit and a processor. The processor stores ordered time settings including at least respective timer values. When an elapsed time that is measured by using a clock signal output by the signal output unit reaches a timer value of a time setting selected from the time settings, the processor resets the elapsed time, and switches the selected time setting to a next time setting among the ordered time settings. If the operation input unit receives a predetermined change command during, the measurement of the elapsed time for the timer value of the selected time setting, the processor performs, in response to the change command, a change processing which changes a remaining time with respect to the elapsed time for the timer value of the selected time setting.
