Random light collector device
Disclosed is a random light collector device including a reflecting cavity configured to enclose a random light source that randomly transmits photons. The reflecting cavity has an inner wall adapted to reflect at least a portion of the photons to an output port and guiding means for directing the photons to a photodetector. The guiding means is a hollow tube having an inner wall adapted to reflect the photons, wherein a first end of the hollow tube is connected to or positioned adjacent to the output port of the reflecting cavity and wherein the photodetector is provided within the hollow tube or at a second end such that a sensitive area of the photodetector covers the cross-section of the second end.
Clock generating circuit and associated method
A clock generating circuit includes: a generating circuit, a reference circuit and an adjusting circuit. The generating circuit generates a clock signal. The reference circuit is coupled to the generating circuit, and generates a reference signal to the generating circuit according to the clock signal, wherein a frequency of the clock signal is varied according to the reference signal when the reference signal is received by the generating circuit. The adjusting circuit generates an adjusting signal and a trigger signal to the generating circuit, wherein the generating circuit refers to the trigger signal to decide whether to adjust the clock signal frequency according to the adjusting signal.

TIME-MEASURING DEVICE
The invention relates to a timepiece, in particular a wristwatch, comprising an electro-optical converter device with at least one electro-optical converter, an opto-electric converter device, a first signal path which leads into the opto-electric converter device via a first waveguide, a second signal path which leads into the opto-electric converter device directly or via a second waveguide, a control device, and a useful-signal generating device. The first signal path and the second signal path are designed such that the propagation time of the first clocked light signal in the first signal path and the propagation time of the second clocked light signal in the second signal path differ from each other.
WATCH
The invention relates to a watch, in particular a wristwatch, comprising an electro-optical converter, an opto-electrical converter, a light wave guide, a useful signal generating device and a watch display device. The electro-optical converter is formed to generate and feed a clocked light signal into the light wave guide. A reflector is arranged at a reflector end of the light wave guide, through which the clocked light signal is reflectable back into the light wave guide. A decoupling device is arranged at a feeding end of the light wave guide and is formed to decouple the reflected clocked light signal into the opto-electrical converter. The opto-electrical converter is formed to generate an electrical signal based on the reflected clocked light signal. The watch comprises an electrical signal path between the opto-electrical converter and the electro-optical converter, wherein the electro-optical converter is controllable for generating the clocked light signal based on the electrical signal of the opto-electrical converter. The useful signal generating device is formed to generate a useful signal based on a frequency of the electrical signal, wherein the watch display device is formed to display the time based on the useful signal.
