ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE
An electronic timepiece includes an indicating hand, a distance display hand, a GPS receiver that receives satellite signals transmitted from GPS satellites, a magnetic sensor, and a controller. The controller determines the direction to a destination on the basis of the satellite signals received by the GPS receiver, the output from the magnetic sensor, and destination information representing the position of the destination, determines the distance to the destination on the basis of the satellite signals and the destination information, causes the indicating hand to indicate the direction to the destination, and causes the distance display hand to display the distance to the destination.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMICALLY MODIFYING SETTINGS OF A COMMUNICATION DEVICE
Disclosed is a system for dynamically modifying settings of a communication device based on an activity state of a user of the communication device. A data capturing module captures values corresponding to a plurality of physiological parameters associated to a plurality of activity states of a user. The values may be captured by using one or more wearable devices worn by a user. A configuration module enables the user to configure one or more rules and one or more events, to be triggered, corresponding to each of the one or more rules for modifying settings of the communication device. An activity state determining module determines an activity state, in real-time, from the plurality of activity states. An event triggering module triggers an event, of the one or more events, based on a rule configured corresponding to the activity state in order to dynamically modify the settings of the communication device.
Crystal oscillation circuit and electronic timepiece
To provide a crystal oscillation circuit low in current consumption and stably short in oscillation start time. A crystal oscillation circuit is equipped with a crystal vibrator, a feedback resistor, a bias circuit, a constant voltage circuit, and an oscillation inverter configured by a constant current inverter. The oscillation inverter is configured so as to be controlled by currents based on input signals from the bias circuit and the crystal vibrator and driven by an output voltage of the constant voltage circuit.

ANALOG ELECTRONIC WATCH
An analog electronic watch includes a hand and a control unit. The hand is configured to be rotatable. The control unit fast-forwards the hand to perform a fast-forward operation in different ways according to whether a type of a display object after switching is a time type or a period type, in a case where display contents are switched by using the hand.
ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE
An electronic timepiece which can reduce currents flowing in a pull-down resistor or a pull-up resistor when a crown switch is turned on includes a first switch that is connected to a signal line, a second switch, and a one-shot pulse signal generation circuit. The first switch is inserted into the signal line. One end of the second switch is connected to the signal line on a rear stage of the first switch. The other end of the second switch is connected to a power source. The one-shot pulse signal generation circuit generates a one-shot pulse signal by using a reference clock signal. The second switch is controlled by the one-shot pulse signal.
Watch
A main plate at which a watch component is disposed, a circuit board including a regulating pattern, a regulating switch disposed contactably with the circuit board, and a holding member disposed on a side opposite to the circuit board with respect to the regulating switch are included, the regulating switch includes a guide pin fixed to the main plate, a lever body including an opening portion into which the guide pin is inserted and a contact portion that contacts the regulating pattern, and a coil spring including an opening portion into which the guide pin is inserted and presses the lever body toward the circuit board, and the holding member holds the coil spring sandwiched between the holding member and the lever body.
