Thermal solution for wearable devices by using wrist band as heat sink
A heat transfer component of a smart watch captures at least a portion of heat emitted by one or more electronic components located within an enclosure of the smart watch. The heat transfer component transfers at least a portion of the captured heat to a wrist band outside the enclosure of the smart watch. The wrist band allows for dissipation of at least a portion of the transferred heat through at least one surface of the wrist band.
ELECTRONIC WATCH CLASP SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Embodiments of a watch can include a watch having an analog watch face, a first watch band portion, a second watch band portion and an analog watch face. The watch can include a butterfly clasp having a digital display and a circuit board associated with a controller.
Wearable watch type mobile terminal
A watch type mobile terminal includes: a body having a power supply unit, a printed circuit board, and a display unit formed to implement a touch input thereon; a band unit formed to be wearable on a user's wrist by being connected to the body, and formed such that at least part thereof is wound or unwound in the body; and a length control unit configured to implement winding or unwinding of the band unit such that a length of the band unit is controllable in accordance with a user's wrist size.
WOVEN DISPLAY
A woven fabric includes light transmissive fibers woven into the fabric to provide a visual display. The fabric may be used as a tether to releasably connect a portable electronic device to a user. The light transmissive fibers may transmit light to convey information to the user. The fabric may also be used as part of the housing of an electronic device.
Wearable electronic device
A wearable electronic device including a body having a first locking recess, a wearable element having a second locking recess and a locking structure disposed in one of the first and the second locking recesses and including a pressing element and a locking element connected with each other is provided. The locking element is adapted to lock another one of the first locking recess and the second locking recess to assemble the body and the wearable element together, and the pressing element is adapted to receive an external force and move along a vertical axial direction into the first locking recess or the second locking recess which the locking structure is located, and drive the locking element to move along a horizontal axial direction into the first locking recess or the second locking recess which the locking structure is located, so as to unlock the body and the wearable element.
CROWN ASSEMBLY AND WEARABLE DEVICE
An example crown assembly includes a button tube, a crown, a spring piece, a switch, and a fastening frame. The crown includes a crown cap and a crown stem that are connected. The spring piece includes a first plate, an elastic arm, and a second plate. Two ends of the elastic arm are connected to the first plate and the second plate. When pressure is exerted on the crown cap, the crown stem is capable of moving along the axis and pushing the first plate away from the end that is of the elastic arm and that is connected to the second plate, to enable the first plate to press the switch. The elastic arm is capable of generating elastic deformation, and when the pressure on the crown cap is released, the first plate is capable of pushing the crown stem away from the switch under elasticity of the elastic arm.
Carbon Fiber Watch Case, Method for Preparing Carbon Fiber Watch Case, and Smartwatch
A carbon fiber watch case includes a main body structure and a conductive structure. The main body structure has an inner surface and an outer surface. The conductive structure has a first contact on the inner surface and a second contact on the outer surface to electrically connect the inner surface and the outer surface of the carbon fiber watch case. The main body structure includes a braided body and a polymer body. The braided body includes a carbon fiber, and the braided body has a network-like structure. The polymer body at least fills a gap of the network-like structure of the braided body so that the braided body and the conductive structure form an integrated structure.
Electronic device having flexible display and operation method thereof
An electronic device having a flexible display is provided. The electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing slidably coupled to a side of the first housing, a flexible display including a first area mounted on the first housing and a second area extending from the first area, a gear structure disposed within the first housing, and a mounting member rotatably coupled to the first housing and mounted on or separated from at least a portion of the human body, wherein the flexible display may be rotated and rolled according to rotation of the gear structure in a state in which the first area is exposed to the outside, thereby exposing at least a portion of the second area to the outside.
Smartwatch
A smartwatch includes case, a crown, a guide rod, and an internal mechanism case. The case is detachably coupled to an outer side of the internal mechanism case. A through hole is disposed on the case. The guide rod is disposed on the internal mechanism case and is opposite the through hole. A stem of the crown extends through the through hole. A knob of the crown is located on a side of the through hole that is distal from the guide rod. The stem is configured such that when the knob is subject to pressure, the stem approaches the guide rod, and when the knob is subject to pulling force, the stem moves away from the guide rod, and when the knob is subject to rotation force, the stem rotates and drives the guide rod to rotate.
POLYSILOXANE ELASTOMER CONTAINING LIQUID CRYSTAL LATERAL CHAIN, AND SMART WATCH MADE FROM THE SAME
A polysiloxane elastomer containing liquid crystal lateral chain, and a smart watch made therefrom are disclosed. The polysiloxane elastomer containing liquid crystal lateral chain includes a polysiloxane backbone chain and a lateral chain formed by a liquid crystalline monomer and connected with the polysiloxane backbone chain, wherein the polysiloxane backbone chain is crosslinked by a crosslinking agent.
