Trigonometric display and method thereof
A trigonometric function display clock includes a clock face that has a center aligned with a central axis, axial markings aligned with an x-axis and a y-axis, and a secondary circle having a diameter equal to a radius of the axial markings. A first point on the secondary circle is aligned at the center of the central axis, and the secondary circle is configured to be rotatable about the first point. The secondary circle is configured to overlap and align with at least a portion of the axial markings as the secondary circle rotates about the first point.
Positioning apparatus, electronic timepiece, positioning control method and recording medium
A positioning apparatus includes the following. A first oscillator outputs a clock signal. A second oscillator outputs a clock signal which is more accurate than the first oscillator. A receiver receives a radio wave from a positioning satellite. A positioning controller calculates a present position based on positioning information calculated from the received radio wave. The positioning controller controls switching of a supply source of the clock signal supplied to the receiver and the positioning controller between the first oscillator and the second oscillator depending on a reception status of the radio wave from the positioning satellite by the receiver.

Providing Biometric Achievement User Interface Screens Associated with Biometric Goals
A computing device includes a display device, one or more sensors to obtain biometric information of a user associated with the computing device, and one or more processors to execute instructions stored in one or more memories to: determine whether the user completes one or more biometric goals based on the biometric information, and receive data associated with a first user interface screen and data associated with one or more first biometric achievement user interface screens. Each of the first biometric achievement user interface screens include one or more first user interface elements from the first user interface screen and are associated with biometric goals. The first user interface screen forms at least part of a home screen, and in response to the user completing a first biometric goal, a corresponding first biometric achievement user interface screen associated with completion of the first biometric goal is provided.
Watch for calculating photographic exposures
The invention provides a wearable device, such as a watch, that provides a way to calculate an appropriate camera shutter speed and aperture setting for a given ISO speed setting to obtain settings that, when entered into a camera, will result in an appropriate photographic exposure. The devices of the invention provide a simple, fast, convenient way to calculate appropriate settings for the components of the photographic exposure triangle.
SMARTWATCH DEVICE AND METHOD
A smartwatch device and method. The abstract of the disclosure is submitted herewith as required by 37 C.F.R. 1.72(b). As stated in 37 C.F.R. 1.72(b): A brief abstract of the technical disclosure in the specification must commence on a separate sheet, preferably following the claims, under the heading Abstract of the Disclosure. The purpose of the abstract is to enable the Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and gist of the technical disclosure. The abstract shall not be used for interpreting the scope of the claims. Therefore, any statements made relating to the abstract are not intended to limit the claims in any manner and should not be interpreted as limiting the claims in any manner.

Wearable article
A wearable article is disclosed. The wearable article includes a body and a connecting portion connected to the body, the body includes a processing device, the wearable article further includes at least one removable device disposed on the connecting portion, the removable device is configured for connecting to the processing device.
WATCH FACE SELECTION
A watch can include a processor; memory operatively coupled to the processor; a display operatively coupled to the processor; an environmental sensor that generates sensor information; circuitry that selects a watch face from a plurality of different watch faces based at least in part on at least a portion of the sensor information; and circuitry that renders the selected watch face to the display.
Smart watch extended system
A method and apparatus to provide an extended band is described. The method comprises pairing a watch and a host device. The method further comprises monitoring a user's status with a plurality of sensors on the host device and/or the watch, and using the extended band to do one or more of: provide alerts to the user, based on the sensor data, control the extended band from one of the devices, and share data with third parties using the extended band.
