SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING SMART ALARMS
A method for managing smart alarms in an electrical system includes processing electrical measurement data from or derived from energy-related signals captured or derived by at least one intelligent electronic device of a monitoring and control system to identify at least one of power events in the electrical system, or alarms triggered in response to any identified power events. Information related to the identified power events and the identified alarms may be aggregated, and relevant event and/or alarm management groups and/or relevant event and/or alarm periods may be identified from the aggregated information. One or more actions may be triggered, avoided or avoid triggering in response to the identified event management groups and/or the identified event and/or alarm periods. Systems for managing smart alarms are also provided herein.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPARATUS
An artificial intelligence apparatus determines whether a washing option in a washing course according to the input of a user is changed when input of the user is received, and collect use history information when the washing option is changed. In addition, the artificial intelligence apparatus inputs the collected use history information to an option resetting model to acquire a second washing option for resetting the washing course, and resets the washing option included in the washing course according to the second washing option.
Automated Production Optimization Technique for Smart Well Completions Using Real-Time Nodal Analysis
Systems and methods include a method for multi-segmented oil production. A multi-segmented well production model representing production at a multi-segmented oil production facility is calibrated. The model models production based on well rates and flowing bottom-hole pressure data at various choke settings for multiple flow conditions for each segment of the multi-segmented well. Real-time updates to the well rates and the flowing bottom-hole pressure data are received. Changes to triggers identifying thresholds for identifying production improvements are received. The model is re-calibrated based on the changes to the triggers and the real-time updates. An optimization algorithm is executed to determine new optimal inflow control valve (ICV) settings. Using the re-calibrated multi-segmented well production model, a determination is made whether the new optimal ICV settings improve production. If so, the optimal ICV settings are provided to a control panel for the multi-segmented oil production facility.
Optimal sleep phase selection system
A sleep sensing system comprising a sensor to obtain real-time information about a user, a sleep state logic to determine the user's current sleep state based on the real-time information. The system further comprising a sleep stage selector to select an optimal next sleep state for the user, and a sound output system to output sounds to guide the user from the current sleep state to the optimal next sleep state.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A PAPERMAKING MACHINE, DRIVE SYSTEM AND PAPERMAKING MACHINE
For operating a drive system or a papermaking machine, motion parameters such as a rotary speed of a motor are determined. From at least one of the motion parameters, a performance value or Key Performance Index is calculated in a motion controller and/or in a non-local computing unit. The performance value is derived from changes in the motion parameters or control parameters over time and displayed to operating personnel on a display. The performance value represents a control performance indicating a control speed responsive to a set motion parameter and thus an operating state of the papermaking machine.
Evacuation controller
Modern large buildings and public places are equipped with a plurality of elevators, exits and points of interest for fluent movement. The passenger flows in a building or public place can be traced and modelled by using statistics and information regarding current state of the modelled building or public place. The information derived from this model can be used for controlling elevators, escalators and similar in the building more efficiently. The same information may be used also for guiding passengers in the building or public place to use other transportation means so that the duration high traffic situation can be reduced or sometimes completely avoided.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING SMART ALARMS
A method of analyzing events for an electrical system includes: receiving event stream(s) of events occurring in the electrical system, the events being identified from captured energy-related signals in the system; analyzing, an event stream(s) of the events to identify different actionable triggers therefrom, the different triggers including a scenario in which a group of events satisfies one or more predetermined triggering conditions; analyzing, over time, the different actionable triggers to identify a combination of occurring and/or non-occurring actionable triggers which satisfies a predefined trigger combination condition and an analysis time constraint; and in response to the observation of the combination, taking one or more actions to address the events. The analysis time constraint can be a time period duration and/or sequence within which time-stamped data of events in the event stream(s) and the associated actionable triggers are considered or not considered in the analysis to identify the combination.
METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING A TARGET VALUE
A target value progression for a process parameter functioning as a setting variable is established so that an actual value progression for a selected variable has a desired property, or the desired actual value progression itself ensues. The actual value progression occurring in relation to the first configuration is predetermined as a reference value progression for the selected variable, and a target value progression for the process parameter functioning as the setting variable is established by a computer so that the reference value progression as the actual value progression with the desired property or the desired actual value progression itself ensues when the shaping machine in the second configuration operates in a production cycle in accordance with the selected target value progression for the at least one process parameter functioning as the setting variable.
Dredge position controller
A position controller for electronically monitoring the position and speed of a dredge. The position controller consists of an electric powered line winding spool with an electric encoder to indicate line speed and position to a microprocessor. A drag control assembly with electric control is used to increase, decrease or set the drag at desired setting by microprocessor control. Touch screen microprocessor interface is the preferred method to enter settings into the system and allow display/control through multiple preexisting marine electronic devices throughout a fishing boat.
